This area along Burke Road has smatterings of burger joints, and unfortunately this one does nothing to stand out. The burgers are pretty good, but the patties were a bit overcooked and the buns a bit dense. However the real let down were the chilli cheese fries. I was expecting something like what was to be found at Burgled Burgers only a couple of kilometres away, but I was sorely mistaken. Where Burgled chips are crispy, well seasoned and delicious, the Juicy Lucy chips were evidently pulled out of a packet. They were tasteless, mushy and disgusting. The burger market is pretty crowded and this place seems to have nailed burgers without trying too hard. They are tasty home style burgers without the pomp of many other places.
