I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Not So Dinicious. Unfortunately, the food was average and did not offer good value for money. I was particularly dissatisfied with the charge for flat papadums, which were not fresh. Yes papadums are not free but cheap to buy a packet which can serve a lot of customers and can afford to give more than one. Nobody is asking you to be charity they understand you are running a business. But don't have to be stingy and loose customers in your negative attitude. Furthermore, the customer service was subpar. I observed the owners and rude staff laughing in front of other customers and speaking about customer feedback in their own language, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I had visited the restaurant previously in December and found the chicken curry to be bland, with a consistency resembling chili water, lacking in flavor. Despite this, I decided to give the restaurant another chance today, only to be met with the same disappointing experience. I now regret not following my initial instinct to avoid returning. It is essential for business owners to treat constructive customer feedback with respect and use it as an opportunity for improvement, rather than dismissing it. I would highly recommend visiting other establishments such as Walauwwa, Little Lanka in Noble Park, and Cinnamon Cafe, all of which offer better food, service, and overall value for money. These restaurants not only provide generous portions but also offer additional papadums without charge and with a smile ☺. Your customer service behaviors certainly do reflect on presence of customers at your Restaurant, it is always 3/4 empty and only staff eating most of the time. Based on my experience, I will not be returning to Not So Dinicious and will be advising friends and family to avoid the restaurant as well. Yes I told my feedback to your face not hide behind comments.

"Authentic Sri Lankan Dining Experience at" I recently had the pleasure of visiting Café Dinicious for the first time with my wife for brunch, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment we stepped in, the vibe of this place was warm with cultural atmosphere, that instantly transported us to Sri Lanka. The café may not have a large seating capacity, but every detail of its beautifully curated space adds to its charm, making it a cozy and inviting spot for food lovers. What makes Café Dinicious truly unique is its set-menu concept—a refreshing and interactive way to enjoy Sri Lankan cuisine. Instead of ordering individual dishes, you get to choose from a selection of authentic, home-cooked meals displayed in the Bain Marie. This setup is perfect because it allows you to see, smell, and pick your favorites before indulging in a delicious feast. It's not just a meal—it’s an experience of comfort, convenience, and affordability. The flavors? Absolutely incredible! Every bite is packed with rich spices, bold aromas, and a homely touch that makes the food feel truly authentic. If you’re someone who loves exploring different cuisines, this is a must-try! If you haven’t tried Sri Lankan cuisine yet, this is the perfect place to start. Whether you're a food enthusiast or just looking for a different brunch experience, Café Dinicious is worth a visit! Highly recommended!

If you’re looking to experience real Sri Lankan cuisine, this place is a fantastic place to start. We’ve ordered their food online before, but finally had the chance to visit the restaurant in person and it did NOT disappoint!☺️ The moment we walked in, we noticed how clean and tidy the place was. It’s clear they care about the experience, not just the food. The menu offers a great variety, showcasing the richness of Sri Lankan flavors. We tried the rice and curry, biriyani, fish buns, chicken/fish and egg rolls, and finished off with watalappan (a classic Sri Lankan dessert). Every single item tasted heavenly. The watalappan in particular was a standout👍🏻it tasted just like the authentic version you’d find in Sri Lanka. And the fish buns? Spot on! 🧡One bite brought back so many childhood memories. I can’t even express how happy I was to taste something that felt so close to home. On top of that, the front staff were friendly and kind, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot to anyone craving true Sri Lankan food, whether you’re new to the cuisine or longing for a taste of home
