Cafe Omnia were handed the keys back in March and have had such a rollercoaster beginning to their lovely new cafe. But they've finally finished renovations and ready to feed you!

Wow! Just WOW! They've utilised the sections of the venue wonderfully, to be the ultimate family-friendly destination. The rear courtyard is completely enclosed with outdoor decking and turf. Plenty of space for the kids to enjoy their wonderful cubby with slide, with perfect eyesight from any table there.

They also have an indoor section located with a view to the play area, which I have to say looks amazing! There's also a quieter area indoors if you decide to go kid free. Not only do they have the rear courtyard, they have a middle section which is another courtyard, then in the front section you'll find their kitchen and takeaway cabinets, with a couple tables at the front.

What also really made us go wow was the food! They're incredibly proud of their menu, which has some great Asian fusion flavours too. The food is perfection and one we'll return to just because of how delicious it is, even without a play area!

📷 Eggs Benny 2 Ways (Kaiserfliesch bacon (or Salmon) benedict with sourdough, spinach, poached eggs, apple cider, hollandaise, mint and apple slaw. 📷 Cajun Popcorn Chicken Tacos (2) with pickled slaw, tomato salsa, finished with sweet chili aoili served with seasoned fries 📷 Calamari Papaya Salad - Crispy fried calamari, slaw, papaya, mango, Vietnamese mint, Thai basil, Cherry Tomato, vermicelli noodle, cucumber, shallots, Asian dressing w/ sweet chili aoili 📷 Kid's Avo on Toast & Kid's Calamari & Chips

For anyone wondering, this is the old Nature...

I love the food at Omnia, they have your cafe classics as well as some elevated unique dishes to satisfy all your brunch cravings. We tried the:

🍴KOREAN CHICKEN WAFFLE ($23.80) House made waffle serves with fried. chicken toasted with Korean sweet and spicy sauce and crunchy sesame slaw. 🍴CALAMARI SALAD ($24.50) Fried ginger garlic calamari served with Asian chop chops salad, three-colour slaw, turmeric rice noodles, pickled carrots, crispy shallot with Lime sweet and spicy dressings. 🍴MELTY MUSHROOM TOASTIE ($16) Mustard infused mushroom W provolone & mozzarella 🥤MIXED BERRY SMOOTHIE ($10) Blueberry, Strawberry, Raspberry, Yogurt, Chia Seeds, Honey, Al milk. 🥤SUPER GREEN ($10) Kale, Spinach, Kiwi, Banana, Mango Chia Seeds, Coconut Water

I absolutely loved the calamari salad, such a generous serve of calamari and it was so well seasoned and fried, paired well with the refreshing salad. The mushroom sandwich wasnt bad, the mushroom was so juicy and fat, but felt like it could be more balanced, missing something in the sandwich to tie it all together, but love how huge the mushrooms was, so yum. The Korean fried chicken waffle was great too, and I personally loved the sweetness of the mixed berry smoothie, it was so delicious, so recommend these both along with the calamari salad. The dining area is soo spacious and we felt so welcome, cosy and relaxed. The staff were all super friendly and gave great recommendations. Located right next to Murrumbeena station, super convenient and can see why it’s a...

Best brunch finds in Melbourne @cafeomnia in Murrumbeena is all about beautiful and delicious brunch and breakfast dishes over great quality coffee, cocktails and smoothies.

What we had: French toast, that lemon curd was the game changer in this dish and made it taste so fresh and hearty at the same time. Loved the butterscotch sauce in it as well. Highly recommend.

Waffle mushroom, have a Mediterranean feel and taste to it with tahini tzatziki yoghurt, so refreshing and delicious mix of ingredients, the mushrooms were just perfect. Must try.

Smoked salmon tartine, a perfect brekkie dish with all fresh and yummy ingredients from salmon, dill, ricotta, herbs, capers and a deep fried poached egg. So mouthwatering. Another must try.

Fried chicken waffle, not for faint hearted ones, only try if you truly can handle the heat and addictive spiciness of this. Juicy saucy fried chicken with waffles were too good to resist. I’m definitely coming back for this dish again.

Berry smoothie, Soy latte, Cookies and cream thick shake

The coffee is very satisfying to drink, and so was the berry smoothie.

The service is prompt and attentive and the staff here are all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The vibes here is very charming and they have got ample of dining space with a backyard for the...
