Reflecting on past experiences at Murrumbeena Wine Bar, I can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia as the unfortunate news of its closure sinks in. From the moment I stepped in, I was always met with spectacular service and a carefully curated selection of wines, spirits, cocktails, and delicious menu items. One distinctive aspect that set Murrumbeena Wine Bar apart was its commitment to accommodating various dietary requirements. Whether you were a vegetarian, vegan, or had specific food allergies, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone could partake in a memorable dining experience. In the face of closure, it's disheartening to think this inclusive haven will no longer be available. Notably, Murrumbeena Wine Bar embraced a dog-friendly policy, adding an extra layer of warmth to the atmosphere. It was heartening to witness not only the camaraderie among patrons but also the friendly interactions between the staff and our four-legged companions. As the doors close, the absence of this pet-friendly retreat is a loss to the community. The interior of Murrumbeena Wine Bar radiated a beautiful vibe, creating a warm, cozy, and inviting ambiance. It served as a haven for both intimate evenings and relaxed gatherings with friends. The melancholy realization that this charming space will soon be just a memory adds a bittersweet tinge to the nostalgia. On a lighter note, the staff, not only for their professionalism but also for their striking handsomeness, added a unique charm to the place. Their charisma and warmth were as much a part of the experience as the carefully selected wines. It's a testament to the dedication of the team that made each visit a memorable one. As I reminisce about the sunny days in the wine garden and the comfort of blankets and heaters during colder spells, the imminent closure feels like bidding farewell to a dear friend. The mulled wine during winter seasons and the unbeatable value of Pinot Night on Wednesdays were cherished traditions that made Murrumbeena Wine Bar a standout establishment. In conclusion, as Murrumbeena Wine Bar closes its doors, I can't help but express gratitude for the remarkable experiences it provided. Beyond the stars Google allows, this establishment, with its outstanding service, cozy ambiance, curated wine selection, and yes, the handsomeness of its staff, will be dearly missed. Farewell to a gem in Murrumbeena that holds a special place in the hearts of many.

First time here to support my friend playing an acoustic set tonight. There are suburbia bars, and then there are the ones that gets it right, like this place. Let's start with, and the highlight of this experience.... ERICA !! What a delight of a human being. Top host from greetings to service and everything in between. Thank u. Food are delicious and well price and portioned. Their support of live music will always be all that I need to push them from a 4 to 5 star. I'll be back for sure.

Loved it! The website was extensive which made it easier to make a decision to go. Lovely, cosy and intimate inside tables, outside courtyard cool for bigger groups and more casual vibe. Plenty of seating. Great bar list which includes mostly local and craft/independent/smaller brewers/wine makers. Supporting local; Perfect! We had grazing board, bread with dukkah, spring rolls and French fries. All really tasty food and fabulous with our beverages. Good service too. Would recommend.

5 star rating all around for this great little wine bar . Sasha and her team are always welcoming and provide really good service on all the occasions (at least 5) that I’ve been to MWB over 2024 and 2025. The wine selection is good and reasonably priced, as is the food there and the ambience is really chilled. .

I go there to see and support my good friend Melanie (Mel) , who sings at MWB with her band “Mel’s Jazz Mates”. Last time I was there (Friday 17th January 2025), Mel and the boys (Ken on keyboard and Hermann on double bass) were really performing at the top of their game.

This was evident by the obvious enjoyment of all those who were there onntje night and the compliments of a few people expressed at the conclusion of the performance . What a great combination - Jazz at a wine bar ! I’m sure that the other events at MWB would be equally enjoyable as the they seem to take care in choosing artists that complement the wine bar very well !

Highly recommended for all of the reasons...

Great atmosphere and cute local bar. But that is where my compliments end.

I travelled 30 minutes on public transport in the rain to catch up with my best friend for a wine.

As a walk in we were quickly shown a table and offered a "white or red" before being shown the menu.

Speaking of the menu, we admired the many delicious drink and pizza options. We had picked the same pizza, how quaint. But for 30 minutes we could not order. We couldn't catch the waitress attention, we couldn't get the bar to notice us. We saw the table next to us served with such a friendly tone while being blatantly ignored.

We finished our delicious wine and crossed the road to be served immediately.

Wouldn't recommend if you actually want to spend money or drink their delicious wine. 2 stars for...
