I visited your cafe around 12:30 PM on the 12th. I live nearby and have been a regular customer, but after today’s experience, I’ve decided not to return.
When I entered the cafe, I encountered an all-rounder staff member who didn’t greet me at all. Inside the cafe, there was one person seated at a table, and including myself, there were two customers waiting to order. The barista seemed busy on a phone call and didn’t seem to have any intention of ending the conversation.
So far, that was fine. When it was my turn to order, I tried to order a medium-sized latte. The all-rounder staff mumbled something about a medium iced latte. So I clarified that I wanted a medium-sized hot latte. They just stared at me for a moment and then again mumbled something about a medium iced latte while searching for that item on the POS. I had to tell them again that I wanted a medium hot latte. It was only then that they, with an expression of disbelief, clicked the correct menu item on the POS. Afterward, they spoke to the barista in their native language, saying something like "Chinese people have strange pronunciations." However, I’m not of Chinese descent, and they seemed to assume I wouldn’t understand what they were saying, which made me feel very uncomfortable. If the all-rounder didn’t understand the customer's order, shouldn’t they have double-checked? Even if the staff member is inexperienced, they should remind themselves of their role.
The barista, too, treated Another customer kindly but handed me my coffee with a stiff expression and without saying anything. Despite me thanking them first, they remained silent. They even wished the previous customer a good day. On top of that, the latte I received had no foam at all, and it wasn’t even worth the price of a coffee bought at a gas station. Pretty disappointed for my first visit to a place that’s highly rated. Attitude and rude customer service for a minor mistake made by the staff.
The person serving made an error on my order. Once I got home and noticed that there was bacon in my food, even tho I asked for no bacon. I called the place to notify them about the situation, the person said “next time you come back, we’ll do something about it”
With no receipt offered nor given when purchased, I asked how is that going to work when I come back next time and mention it, they can always deny it due to not remembering. The guy said there’s nothing that I can do about it until you visit and just suddenly hangs up the call.
I go visit the place, the person serving took no responsibility, no apology or anything sincere. He gave attitude while giving the refund and just handed the money with disgust in his face.
The latte was decent, hot chocolate was average.

Anyhow 45 minutes later we were served, I ordered the Pulled pork Benedict, the pulled pork was dry and the house made hash brown was over cooked, bland overall, we also ordered eggs on toast with additional bacon, no additional bacon came, we'd given up by then, at the checkout they tried to charge us for the additional bacon.
