Caffe Bambino — Restaurant in Melbourne

I come to the office 2 days a week and I like to support the cafe's and businesses on the area. I only order my hot chocolate drink from Caffe Bambino. Amazing hot drinks. But today I ordered a prosciutto sandwich and hot chocolate. And somehow my order got lost in translation. Instead, I got a cheese and tomato toastie and latte. The drink they amended to hot chocolate but it's not pleasant to be accused of making a wrong order. Perhaps, just a suggestion, children should not be working behind the counter. Only because a child took my order and made my sandwich, I backed down to save the child's feelings. Please do...

Hao and Richy are two of the most personable, friendly and generous cafe owners I have had the privilege to meet. They go above and beyond for their customers, and are a great part of the local community. As one of the only coffee shops open on the weekend in this part of the Docklands, I can not emphasise how thankful I am for their hangover curing egg and bacon rolls and top notch coffees!

My routine coffee spot before starting the work day.

The cafe have a relaxed vibe and the staff are friendly. I usually grab my morning caffeine fix here l before starting my work day while taking a stroll around the park. It's also a great place to catch up with a friend for a coffee outdoors.

They have a good selection of cafe staples such as croissants, sandwiches, and rolls but also try the banh mi and rice paper rolls as the owners are Vietnamese.
