Blended Beard — Restaurant in Melbourne

This establishment is situated in Goldsborough Lane in between Little Bourke & Bourke streets Working in the building above, and you only have a half hour lunch break to buy food and eat it Blended Beard, I found are very disorganised, not attentive to customers. Today I walked in with a colleague advising of the good food and ordered a burger with chips and paid. Since we were the only ones that walked in at the time, I asked how long it would take and was told 5 minutes. In that time, waiting, there were only 2 staff working, appalling, other customers were walking in and being served and receiving their food, while I was still waiting. 2 staff working. No one else By the time we received our food, it was 20 minutes later. By the time we got back to work, we had not even 5 minutes to eat, and not only that, because it took a while to do chips, we didn't get many of them. If they want to keep up with the rush hour and do well, they need at least 5 staff working. One to do the coffees, one to cook chips and not on order but ready, one person to take the order and advise a time frame so people aren't waiting & 2 to heat up the burgers. Also the staff seemed disinterested. And too busy to pay attention to any customers I have been there once before and noticed staff talking amongst themselves rather than wanting to serve customers Over all bad service, long waiting time and not even a smile to say thank you for your order I definitely won't...

I go to Blended Beard cafe every single day & the coffee is amazing, the food is fantastic so fresh & good, not to mention the cleanliness of the place it's immaculate I love to eat there the food is so nice & the sweets are to die for. Keep up the great work guys you are doing coffee justice in that strip. Thank god you guys came to Docklands you are a breath of fresh air, with so many coffee places in Bourke street you are by far my favourite coffee place I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff at this cafe really take customer service to a next level. It feels good to walk in to the place and get greeted by friendly smiles. The knowledge of the coffee they possess is immense and the food always gets ready on time. If they say 5 minutes then it is 5 minutes and is really good.
