Caffe on Cochranes — Restaurant in Melbourne

I have been going to Caffe on Cochranes for years. They are the best cafe in the area, the staff are so friendly and helpful and extremely generous with their servings! Prices are also fantastic, it’s hard to find a cafe these days who don’t overcharge and give tiny servings of food for what you pay. I can also finally say that they serve their coffees HOT and actually fill them to the top, just the way they should be!! Nothing worse than a half filled, lukewarm coffee. Plus they have a loyalty card for your coffee which is great :)

Coffee was delicious, our sandwiches were huuuuuuge, very filling and yummy. Nice and clean cafe, plenty of seating available inside and out, plenty of carpark. A lovely cafe must check out if you’re in the area or passing through. They have a great variety of foods along with plenty of sweet treats if you’ve a sweet tooth! Very generous with portion sizes. The burgers look amazing (noticed all the burgers the tradies had ordered) we definitely will be back soon...

I've always enjoyed the food here, and the staff seem knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately, I came in today and had to pay 13 bucks for a burger with the lot. There were precious few other options (not even any chips) and I was pressed for time. I'm used to paying more like $8 for one of these, and this one wasn't 50% better. I can't see any excuse for this pricing and lack of options on a regular weekday...
