Food, coffee and location was decent. But, honestly the business behind it is disappointing. “Extras” charged at the bottom part of the menu is 5$ per item - Tomatoes, baked beans, spinach, mushroom and hash brown. All in the same line. Who charges $5 for a tomato or even spinach or baked beans. “EACH”! The menu needs to be more clear with an “OR” for each extra item. Additionally, toast is suppose to be $2 but I was charged $2.50, they also charge you $5 for bacon bits and it’s not even 1 strip. So overall, I would rate the 2 star being good and decent food served. But the cafe business behind it is just dishonest and misleading.

I have been to many coffee shops in my travels and this one is exceptional! Service comes with a smile and heartwarming gestures. Coffee is amazing-I ordered a long Mac topped up, many Melbourne cafes often give me an odd look but owner made it perfectly. Then I ordered a breakfast combination that is not on the menu as he happily arranged for it. I have become a Raving Fan. If I ever come back to South Melbourne, this cafe is a must visit! Too bad my photo came as an after thought…

Glad I found this little cafe. Came after recovery lounge next door. Such a warming welcome with friendly service with a smile! Very nice owners. Food itself was delicious and very fresh; the coffee was also spot on. Great customer service and food came out quickly. Beautiful little cafe! Highly recommended.

This is our favourite cafe on Bay Street! They have delicious food made with heart, love and soul. Some of the favourite are, dumplings soup, smashed avo on toast w the best poached egg made to perfection and the Vietnamese vermicelli chicken salad. Their coffee is the best too. They use one of my favourite Melbourne coffee roast Axil. It is located in the quite side of Bay Street, perfect place to sit outside, relax and enjoy a coffee while looking the time go by or sit inside and have a casual chat with the owners. The best family friendly cafe that will look after the little people too. Kids will enjoy their hot chocolate or babychino and marshmallows. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thanks Tu and Vinny for looking after us every day with a delicious coffee...
