BEST BAR EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Holy cow ;) where do i even start?! We were able to bring our beautiful dog bubbles, and she had such an amazing time! She was able to meet lots of people, get lots of pats, and she was so comfortable that she fell asleep on the couch for most of the night! The staff were talented, warm, friendly, kind, professional, hard-working and passionate! I cannot sing their praises enough. Amber was our server, she went above and beyond to make our night special! She was so accommodating, positive and we had some great conversations! She did her job perfectly with a smile, and really made an effort to accommodate my intolerance to dairy. Amazing job Amber!! Outstanding drinks, i had the softails "mule-less" and a virgin mojito. They were perfectly made, in big glasses, both presented so beautifully, and they tasted divine! The flavours were delicious, and the drinks themselves were clearly made with love! The food!! Oh my gosh, the food was EXPLOSIVELY DELICIOUS!! Wow, it is rare to have perfectly sized portions, impressively presented in beautiful plating, taste so incredibly divine!! The food smelt incredible, and the texture of the calamari was soft and fresh. We could also see from the extra breading in the bowl that the food was made in small batches, which is always a marker of a fantastic kitchen!! The grazing board was so so yummy, i was snacking all night on the fresh ingredients and yummy bread! The chef changed the turkish garlic bread into a dairy-free substitute at my request, and he absolutely nailed it! Even without butter, the garlic bread was so delicious. He put the exact right amount of oil on to give it flavour, without drowning the bread. Very impressive! Also: the mango salad is a must-try! The blend of the sweet with the fresh crispy lettuce, thinly sliced chorizo, and succulent chicken?! I felt like the chef understood food, flavour and freshness. Incredible!! The Bar is immaculately clean, without ever feeling sterile or cold. The temperature was perfect, lighting was perfect, music was jazzy and relaxing. The decor is charming, fun and comfortable! The couches are beautiful, and there are ample cushions for really kicking back. The people were all so friendly and kind, and even all of the customers were so happy to be there! This place has the BEST atmosphere i have EVER experienced. I found myself at times so relaxed that i had forgotten where i was, and was lost in the moment! My girlfriend Lily and i came here to celebrate our first year as a couple, and we exchanged some promise rings as a sentimental milestone. The staff gave us enough time to relax and do our thing, without us ever feeling like we needed to find them and ask for something. They checked on us at such a perfect pace. I will never forget this night, i will remember it so fondly. We walked the 4km home to our apartment in the warm night air laughing and smiling about how amazing we felt. Bubbles had an incredible time, and we will be returning as regulars. Fair warning: the stairs to the upstairs level are very steep, but they have sturdy railing and it is difficult to fall with sturdy walls on either side. Take your time, people will be patient with you!! The bathrooms were immaculate, very clean, with all the amenities one could ever need! I even spent some time enjoying the dyson airblade hand-dryer which dried and warmed my hands perfectly. Menus: beautiful, simple, clean, perfect! Branding and signage: extremely pleasting to the eye and very well designed. We are not in a great financial situation, so we were only able to tip $10 but if we could, we would have tipped $50. My absolute favourite local. Actually make that my absolute favourite full stop.

The ambience is cozy yet classy, with an upstairs and downstairs area inside and a great courtyard outside. It is the perfect place to have an intimate date, a good time with friends, or to have a function.

The cocktails are fabulous and the range of spirits is incredible. The owner and bartender are super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, offer great service and unless they’re really busy they are up for a quick chat and a laugh.

It’s great that you can order food from a local restaurant that does really interesting and fabulous pizza and pasta, and one time I went late and that restaurant had closed for the night, and the lovely team at Tipsy Cow said we could order anything from a delivery service like Uber Eats.

I love that it’s dog friendly but it doesn’t put my non-dog friends off because it doesn’t smell “doggy” or have fur on the furniture. The house dog Nisha is gorgeous - I always miss her when she’s not there!

I like to write objective reviews and am trying to think of something they could improve on but after numerous visits I can’t think of a single thing. I’ve taken almost all of my friends there and they’ve all wanted to go back, even the ones who don’t live in the area.

Gorgeous intimate-style bar with all the trimmings of a warm, cozy home. From private nooks to Chesterfield-laden rooms, this two-storey spot is the kind of place where you’ll want to bring a date and sit until it’s far later than you realized. Or where you could take your 20 closest work mates and not get in trouble with HR!

The drinks are so precise: we’re talking lists that deliver solid work on the cocktail front, a choice of wines we actually want to drink and a good showing for the craft beer. There are functional snacks to accompany your foraging of their drinks menu, and larger lunch/dinner serves that hit all the right spots (hint: the buttermilk chicken is unlike anything else! And do not get me started on those donut balls!)

Just like the namesake, they made it their job to get us tipsy so imagine the blowout they’ll facilitate for birthdays, hens, showers and anniversary celebrations.

Plus, you can bring your dog to their sunny courtyard space (or anywhere inside, really!) Or simply admire an array of fluffy companions from your dog-less table.
