My friend is trying to sell us on moving to Melbourne and with places like Station Street she isn't going to have to try too hard. We hadn't been here since pre-pandemic and if anything the space, people, and food and improved since last time (and it was great then!). I want to speak mostly to the service though. There were so many instances when I noticed staff going out of their way to accommodate one person's request or deal with a large group of people and it was always with a smile. At one point probably about 12 'active senior' cyclists showed up for their post-ride coffee and the staff wasted no time in making up an area for them so they could all hang out together with their beverages. And it didn't inconvenience any other customers. They outdoor space is serene, sequestered away from busy Bay St and welcomes neighbours, remote workers, kids, friends having long overdue catch ups ( that's me!), and the person who just needs some solo time with a cuppa and...
Read moreThe cafe and its owner are amazing. I first went 5 years ago when I parked my car nearby to get to my first job as a software developer at a nearby agency. She was there bustling what appeared to be a new cafe in a obscure, off-street location. I’ve come in-and-out over that time and she’s always there going hard as fitness instructor. The cafe is constantly buzzing with a amazing atmosphere thanks to the cute and fluffy dogs from the nearby park. The staff are wonderful and attentive, if a little busy, but it adds to the up-and-go vibe that the owner accentuates. It makes you ready to hit the day. Well done to the team and owner - who’s an inspiration to the hard working and dignified Australia. Do yourself a favour and...

Smashed avocado is what I always order at a cafe and sadly, for the first time ever, I was served with rotten avocado at this cafe. Almost 2/3 of the avocado was extremely overripe, black with lots of very obvious fiber, maybe they’re still edible, but just don’t think it should be the kind of quality you pay money to have. On top of that, an over amount of goat cheese plus the olive loaf just made the whole dish so salty...
