Booked a table indoors and was shown a table right next to a noisy fidgety toddler at the next table (no space between). When I asked for another table, was told all the other tables were booked so had to sit outside in the cold next to a very noisy table. Ordered a pot of beer - repeating several times that I wanted a pot, but they served me a pint instead. When I pointed this out, the guy taking my order looked shocked, and the guy serving me smiled and said 'Sorry about that, I heard pint'. Asked for a medium done steak and was served well done steak, pre-sliced into large grey pieces. Probably because the only cutlery available were regular fork and knives. But the steak being well-done was still difficult to cut. The atmosphere inside would have been fine, but eating tough overdone steak outside in cold weather with no heating turned on and a loud group of young people nearby, was not what we would have preferred.

Read moreWe had great vibes the first time we visited and decided to hold our engagement party here. The whole process was super smooth even with all the COVID ups and downs (shout out to Maddy for being so easy to communicate with!). From the first contact, and everyone who was there on the night, the service was super accomodating.
Now, the food and bev! Always good quality, reasonably priced, and caters for pretty much everyone (vegan-gluten free-omnivores), you literally can't go wrong. Their gin game is also on point! Not a huge range as they aren't a huge joint, but they really know what they are doing with what they have. Legit the best gin martini I have ever had (easy to mess up the balance), and they were open to our request for one of a particular set of cocktails and they produced a solid gin-gin mule.
Thank you all for a...

The dips and garlic bread to share was great. In fact, after having the garlic bread, I should have ordered pizza for my main. The garlic bread was awesome, and the pizza base was amazing.
We were asked to order our mains in advance….I ordered the pumpkin tortellini. For some reason, this dish was sent out last, almost an hour after everyone else got their mains, including the steak and roasted barramundi, go figure… from all indications, everyone’s mains were fine.
The tortellini was the big disappointment…an entree sized portion, the filling needed seasoning, it was over cooked, and the sage burnt butter was drowned out with too much balsamic and chilli jam…very, very disappointing, after waiting almost an hour after everyone started getting their mains.
Hopefully,...
