Thanks to Superchido we had the best Mexican food in Melbourne at our wedding!
My husband and I are huge fans of the food at the restaurant in Seddon, so it felt like a no brainer to get Superchido to cater our wedding. They catered our wedding at the end of July and did the most amazing job! People are still raving about the food! Amazing Tostadas and Tacos all round!
From start to finish, Beatrice and her team were incredibly kind, and helpful to deal with, even making us a custom menu for our event, and taking care of everything with our event coordinator so it all felt seamless.
When we first approached Superchido about catering our wedding, Beatrice invited us to dinner at Superchido to discuss the wedding and what kind of menu/vibe we were looking for. At that time we were thinking more along the lines of food vans, because we wanted 2 different cuisine options - Mexican for the more adventurous diners and something a bit more burgery as a safe option. Beatrice and her husband were so enthusiastic and encouraging, and helped us to rule out food vans in favour of using the onsite kitchen at our venue. Together, we came up with a Mexican menu (tostadas and tacos) and a Tex Mex menu (sliders and mac n cheese) which Superchido were happy to do for us! We left that evening feeling very confident that we had made a very good decision!
Beatrice and her team visited our venue some time before the event and met with our wedding planner and the venue coordinator to look at the kitchen facilities and make sure they had the right equipment for the day. The feedback from my wedding planner was overwhelmingly positive. They were incredibly impressed by the Superchido team and said 'You are in very safe hands with Beatrice!'
On the day I had so many people come up to me just to tell me how good the food was. One of our friends gorged himself and must have eaten 12 tacos by himself! Haha! Everyone was very well fed and very happy. And no problem catering for dietary requirements either!
We couldn't be happier with how the day went and we're extremely grateful to Beatrice and the team for making our day so special. Couldn't recommend...

REVIEW: Superchido do unreal toasted tortillas. I have no idea where they get it from, but the fried tortilla chips (Las Salsas Totopos) and the crispy salted tostadas (Coctel Campechano) is making my mouth water thinking about it. It's crunchy, snappy, and has a soft aromatic to the wheat.
Also the churros were delicious. Not too sweet, they're essentially cinnamon donuts but with crispy edges. The inside is fluffy, while the outer parts gave such a satisfying crunch. Add a little bit of chocolate sauce and it's a delicious party in your mouth.
The fish taco is something I always keep an eye out for. Especially if it's beer battered, I have incredibly high expectations. My only wish is that instead of the chipotle based sauce, they use a more fresher white sauce to bring out the simple tones of the fish. Felt like the chipotle overwhelmed the flavour of the fish for a bit.
Service was really friendly, but they were a bit slow towards the end of the night with packing up dishes. They run a small, tight kitchen but they produce amazing food. Between the 5 of us, it costs about ~$40.00pp Would recommend giving...
Read moreSuperchido catered our wedding, and we could not have been happier with their outstanding service and food. From the very beginning, Beatrice made the experience utterly joyful and seamless. Months before the wedding, Beatrice invited us to have dinner at the restaurant to discuss the menu, vibes, and setup. Beatrice's warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm made us feel incredibly special and confident in our choice.
In the lead-up to the wedding, the whole Superchido team visited our venue to ensure everything was perfectly prepared. Their thoroughness and attention to detail were impressive, and we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands.
On the day of the wedding, every single guest raved about the food. Superchido served corn chips with guacamole and a variety of delicious tacos from a charming marquee. Everyone was well-fed and absolutely loved the food. The next day at our recovery brunch, countless guests asked for Superchido’s address because they were craving more. In fact, some of our friends who attended our wedding were so impressed that they have decided to have their own wedding catered by Superchido!
While the food was undeniably amazing, what truly set Superchido apart was Beatrice and her incredible team. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They anticipated every need and took care of every detail with professionalism and efficiency. Their caring, thoughtful, and fun nature added so much joy to our special day.
We cannot recommend Superchido more highly for any event. They go above and beyond in every way. We feel so lucky to have had them as part of our wedding, and we are certain they will bring the same magic to any event you are planning. Thank you, Beatrice and Superchido, for making our wedding day truly...
