I had an amazing experience at Charman Bakery! As someone who doesn’t eat pork, I was a little concerned about finding something to suit my dietary needs, but they went above and beyond to accommodate me. I got the roast pork banh mi for $10. It’s pretty good, the bread has a nice crunchy exterior but really soft once you bite into it, and the bread itself has really nice flavour. The vegetables and herbs taste really fresh as well. The pork tasted pretty good too, well cooked, has a nice sauce. My only real complaint was that some parts of the pork skin was a bit tough and can didn’t really have that satisfying crunch.
