Chatham Food Store — Restaurant in Melbourne

Well, that was AMAZING!! It's a rare event...a super rare event...that when one orders a salad, for a quick lunch, that this is going to be the most epic tasting salad ever. I ordered a three choice salad on a plate to eat in. Yum! Like...yum yum yum!

The calm atmosphere and the abundance of delicious treats and gifts surrounded the table which I sat. I looked at the shelves, from floor to ceiling, full of beautiful items. Wonderfully titled spices that looked like any home made dish would turn out remarkable. Glass jar gingerbread men full with syrup, Jars of Gold sugar, and blocks of nougat highlighted the swiftly incoming Christmas season.

This place is just lovely. Definitely going back next week for...

Honestly my favourite place in the area. Better than all the cafes in Mailing Road cause I never had a greater welcoming like what I had today☺️☺️ Nick was so welcoming and lovely today when I waltzed in. He even gave me a sample of the Caramel Slice and Hedgehog and they were so authentic. The New York style choc chip was just like the cookies in New York and I cannot wait to peruse the rest they have to offer.

What a gorgeous place. Was lovely meeting Nick and Eve there as well who were extremely friendly and welcoming. The shop has a huge range of food options to choose from, which you can take away. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area and it’s right next to Chatham station for real convenience. Would definitely come back again and look forward to enjoying another maple...
