Cino's Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

Ordered from here (Roast Burger on Uber Eats and Menulog) tonight and was hugely disappointed, not even worth 1 star

To start of the time estimate was woefully underestimated, the meal took about 1.5hrs to arrive and was cold when it got here

The lamb roast meal appeared to just be reheated, dry and soaked in gravy to try and hide the fact, the vegetables were overcooked & additionally the meal was the size you would serve a child + as a combo was missing its extra items (coke & garlic bread)

The burger also had dry lamb and roll, the sauce that was in there was again trying to hide the fact it was all dry and became the overpowering flavor (though I tried some without the sauce and it really didn't have any flavor anyway), the chips it came with basically tasted like they were reheated and not that nice, however I will say the gravy that came with them was the only good thing about the meal.... not a big saving grace though

To top off the order we got a sticky date pudding, to start with it was lacking sauce in general that you get with a pudding like that, but it was so bad it was inedible. It had clearly just been reheated in a microwave, by the time it arrived and we got to desert it was so dry and solid we couldn't actually even cut it in half with a fork or spoon (i mean i could try with one of my nice expensive kitchen knives but i fear for the safety of my knifes!)

Finally, if we got everything we actually ordered and it was all edible, I would say that it was all heavily over priced for the portion size of the meals as it was

After being sick for an entire week, I finally felt better enough to eat and was craving pizza. Cino's always came up highly recommended and it was on my list to try so I figured I'd give it a shot as they are open late. I placed my order and less than a minute later I received an alert to say they had rejected my order. I was shocked as this has never happened before. I ordered through another restaurant (who had no issue delivering my small order) and whilst waiting, I decided to look at the reviews online and was surprised to read many awful reviews. Apparently this shop accepts UberEats orders but then uses their own delivery drivers and don't send updates to their customers/have extensive waiting times. I can only assume my small order was rejected as it was not deemed substantial enough for their drivers to make the trip. I understand the ongoing issue between small businesses and food delivery companies but at the same time, if you refuse to fulfil a service then let someone who is willing do it. Dreamdays is my mum, just want to clear that up. we had a talk this morning about people with different opinions so she told me to write my own so I will.

The pizza- 4/5 I get the Havana pizza, and its super nice! problem is the sour cream isnt what people would expect? that was very disappointing. all in all however the pizza is alright, ingredients seem fresh.

The service- 3/5 Oh boy, thy arent rude but they arent nice?? both times we have been the two people seem void of emotion?? Its unsettling to be honest. but the food was on time so thats cool and good.

desserts- 2/5 Last night we got churros, and they looked a bit... strage to say the least. I didnt have any but my mum said they werent that good.

Price- 4/5 16 for a gourmet pizza is pretty good if you ask me

Overall- 3.5/5 not the BEST place in the world, but i like it, will continue...
