Coburg Hill Fish and Chips — Restaurant in Melbourne

Tonight I ordered some items from this place from menulog and what a nightmare experience! Not only was it 40 minutes late, after I had called the place asking what was going on with my order the owner explained that the driver just took off with no explanation? I contacted menulog and complained. Minutes later I find my order at the doorstep stone cold and awful. No knock on the door nothing ? Thanks menulog for spoiling my night. As for the owner she needs to hire more staff if she cannot handle busy periods at her shop. I tried calling her back three times again tonight to chat more about the issue. No one answered the phone and I know I was deliberately ignored. I’ll never buy from here again. Don’t bother take your hard earned...

Today I went to the shop for the first time, I felt confused by the difference between actual shop prices (see the Menu attached) and the menu prices on Google. The shop prices were surprisingly cheaper (20-30%) than the prices presented on Google. For example, the potato cake is just $1.6 while on Google it’s $2.2. The boss told me that Google maybe put Menulog/Uber Prices onto its Menu Price.

The fish and chips here were very tasty and crisp, after first time try I would go again for the souvlaki that locals...

A place that puts its time into making tip top quality fish n chips. I'm vegan so only had their potatoe cakes & onion rings (big &awesome) but have friends who love the the fish and related animal products. Tbh i don't think they keep everything seperated at all times so can't guarantee 100% vegan, but they do cook in a seperate cooker just finish in shared one i think.
