@Maryam_Sandwich, a Persian sandwich eatery, sounds intriguing. I went for something a bit out there, lamb brain and veal tongue, chopped onion and parsley, pickled cucumber, tomato. There's a variety of other sandwiches and a few burgers on the menu too. They also run a Persian restaurant a few door down.
Didn't take too long and I had to ask is that one or two sandwiches? It's one cut in half, like a footlong sub, no skimping. I was offered chilli sauce but declined. Biting in there's plenty of slow cooked chunks of tender veal tongue, a bit rich but meaty and complements the soft rich creamy brain offset by the acidity of the pickled cucumber, with tomato and parsley providing the freshness, amongst the sauce. Very tasty, very very filling, satisfying meal.

Read moreI tried the sausage sandwich and falafel sandwich, and I was pleased with the generous portion sizes. The sandwiches were filled with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, adding a nice crunch and freshness to each bite. However, I would have enjoyed a bit more sausage in the sausage sandwich, as the pickles and tomatoes were the standout flavors.
The atmosphere was okay, but I’d suggest improving the air ventilation or using fresher oil for frying food to avoid the oil smoke smell in...
Read moreAmazed at how good The Large Lot pizza was. Base was fluffy like should be and held everything perfectly without flopping or soggy. Excellent quality and for only $20. Ready on time as picked up. I've been eating pizzas since the 70's and this is definitely a gem. I'm local and seen this and original restaurant Maryam Restaurant grow for few years now and can tell you they both survive in the restaurant industry because they have quality for the cost. Pizza was good the next...
