Collective Espresso is situated just across to the Camberwell station, certainly no issue to reach this cafe. Tram no 72 is just located few steps away from the cafe and plenty car parks available just along Cookson Street, Camberwell.

The cafe is very clean, bright and neat with the sleek, modern design used. It's relatively a small cafe but they manage to greatly utilise the room by having a long shared table and small table on the side near the window to have at least 20-30 people inside. You do have for the outdoor spot when you want to enjoy the sun while having your breakfast.

The vibe and environment were great and cosy, we hardly wanted to move after finishing our breakfast. The customer staffs were very friendly, nice and approachable.

We ordered: Gravity Waffles (Vanilla and while chocolate, whipped cream, kiwi fruit, strawberries, salted caramel & popcorn) for $18.50. It's the signature dish by Collective Espresso and we're keen to try this one as it's been quite famous in the social media. The gravity waffles was nicely presented and very appealing served with colorful and fresh fruits. The salted caramels were fantastic, it wasn't too sweet which were really good. The waffles were perfectly cooked, soft and fluffy. The overall texture was fantastic. The portion served were pretty generous with two great size of waffles. Surely, a must dish to order when you're visiting this cafe.

The Double (double beef, double cheese, double pickles, bacon, relish, trufflenaise & lettuce on a brioche bun with fries) for $20.00. The burger had good presentation and generously served with bacon, relish, chesse, pickles and beef patties. The patties were nicely grilled. The fries on the side were well fried and perfect when you dip using their homemade trufflenaise, Yummmm!!!! Despite of those positive aspects, unfortunately the beef patties were under seasoned; They're tasteless and little bit dry.

BAM (Blueberry, apple & mint slushie) for $7.50. We're intriqued and had doubt when we wanted to order this drink, however it turned out the drink was stunning. Absolutely, recommended drink and really fresh, perfect in Summer.

Milkshakes (Strawberry) for $7.50. The milkshake wasn't our liking as we hardly tasted the strawberries and the drink didn't taste like a common milkshake. It's ashamed that they used too much milk and it was slightly ruining the overall taste. It was very light and not thick texture.

Overall, we still had a great experience having brunch in Collective Espresso. We'll come back next time and try other dishes.

I recently visited Collective Espresso in Camberwell, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. This café offers not only fantastic coffee but also a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes it a standout in the area.

Starting with the coffee—it's exceptional. Whether you're a fan of a bold espresso or a smooth flat white, their baristas know their craft and take pride in what they serve. Each cup is perfectly brewed, and the depth of flavour is something that really sets them apart from other cafĂ©s in the neighbourhood.

The food menu is equally impressive. I had the pleasure of trying their breakfast options, and the dishes were not only beautifully presented but tasted incredible. Fresh, seasonal ingredients shine in every bite, with generous portions that leave you feeling satisfied. There's a great variety, from hearty options to lighter meals, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences.

What truly made my experience remarkable, however, was the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and friendly service. The team at Collective Espresso goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, providing attentive and personalised service without being overbearing. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to offer recommendations based on your preferences. You can really tell that the staff take pride in what they do and are passionate about creating a welcoming environment for every customer.

The atmosphere at Collective Espresso is relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a peaceful moment with your coffee. The interior design strikes a great balance between modern and cosy, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. It’s the kind of place where you can linger for hours and feel completely at ease.

In summary, Collective Espresso in Camberwell is a gem. Whether you're after quality coffee, delicious food, or a friendly space to unwind, this café has it all. I highly recommend it, especially for those who appreciate excellent service and a warm,...

Found my new go-to spot for a filling, flavourful and delicious brunch spread, Collective espresso is situated in a very convenient location right opposite camberwell station and every dish is under $23 (such a great deal for brunch food in this economy and location - and it’s so filling too! đŸ”„) We tried the-

â–ȘWILD MUSHROOMS, CHILLI BEANS & POACHED EGGS ($20) Hearty breakfast of succulent mushrooms, rich house-made baked beans, perfect poached egg and crusty bread â–ȘBEEF BRISKET BENNY ($21) Smoked BBQ brisket on multigrain sourdough, wilted spinach poached eggs and house-made hollandaise with extra avocado smash ($4) â–ȘGREEN POWER SMOOTHIE ($9.50) Kiwi fruit, apple, kale, spinach, coconut water, apple juice â–ȘCACAO ENERGY SMOOTHIE ($9.50) frozen banana, dates, oats, oat milk, cocoa powder

We were incredibly satisfied with our meal. They were super busy but they didn’t skip on the quality. The beef brisket benedict is one of the better ones we’ve tasted- the flavouring and seasoning was on point, the beef tasted delicious alone and was elevated when mixed in with everything else. The hollandaise sauce was so tasty and all the eggs were perfectly poached. There was so much meat, mushrooms, eggs, spinach and bread available it was so good. I absolutely loved their wild mushrooms and chilli beans dish, the beans mix had so much flavour, had the perfect amount of spice and was so hearty and filling. I probably would’ve liked an extra piece of bread but can’t complain much because the servings were so generous across the board. I really liked this dish - it was lightly raining and quite cold on the afternoon we went and this mushroom and beans dish warmed me up- so comforting and delicious!

Both the smoothies were so good too! The cacao energy tasted like a healthier version of a chocolate milkshake and the green power smoothie was also so enjoyable. Great to see such special and different menu items you wouldn’t normally see at your typical brunch spots- we really loved it! All the staff were super nice and...

Our party was stoked to discover this gem of a place. After an entire morning spent wandering the Camberwell market we went searching for a brunch spot with adequate vegan and gluten free options. Things proved more challenging than we expected from Camberwell until we came across Collective Espresso. The first thing we noticed was the service; the staff were quickly keen to inform us of the options they had for vegan and gluten free options with an extensive knowledge of allergen requirements which was especially reassuring as we had a coeliac in our party. Armed with the knowledge that we would be accommodated, we sat down at the establishment. All four of us were over the moon at the food we received. Without even copping a Sunday surcharge, the Espresso Collective gave us all a delicious brunch which was reasonably priced and portioned generously. I was especially happy that the "Collective Sigh" dish could be made vegan and that unlike many other cafes which would only remove the non-vegan items and then charge the same prices, Espresso Collective increased the portions of certain items and added more to the dish to my delight. The highlight of it all was their baked beans; they were smokey and packed with flavour. Even with the good food and affordability, its the service we remembered most. The staff were enthusiastic, knowledgable, friendly and accomodating. With all that in mind, we definitely plan on coming back.
