Such a gorgeous, warm and inviting cafe!! Huge space with lots of seating and tables available.

All staff are so friendly, full of positive energy and vibes! Full of smiles and all very attentive. Our food was delicious. We had the carrot cake, mushroom toastie and the chicken n leek pie.

The pie was absolutely divine. One of the best chicken and leek pies we’ve had. Pastry was so light and fluffy and very filling. Too good!! The carrot cake was moist and full of flavour which is so hard to find nowadays a lot of places carrot cakes are so dry and bland but this one did not disappoint I tell you! Mushroom and cheese toastie was very filling, so generous on the mushrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and coffees. My chai was ok… abit on the weak side it was more milky then chai but it was still drinkable. Other than that, we loved our first visit so we will definitely be back!!

They also have fresh sandwiches available or you pick and design your own. Also have hot food available too. Many different options which is amazing!!...

Months ago, myself and my colleagues made Commodity our go-to cafe and every single day since we have been greeted by Jarrod and Colin in an extremely warm and welcoming way. The staff at Commodity take the time to get to know their regulars, forming a rapport and creating a seamless ordering process.

Day after day the quality of their food and drinks remain consistently good, with a large selection of sandwiches prepared fresh daily.

I am a big advocate of this cafe and recommend it to my friends and colleagues regularly. My biggest advice would be to disregard the negative reviews dated 7 months ago prior to the new management, and try Commodity...

I've tried all the coffee's far and wide all along St.Kilda rd and hands down these guys have the purest coffee this side of town.
