Crust Pizza Carnegie — Restaurant in Melbourne

Don't order from this place. Tried to order for delivery via the website, was unavailable and was advised to call the store directly. Spoke to the person on the phone who took 15 minutes to take my order. I requested that we wanted the 3x large pizzas with 2x sides bundle that was available on the website and on top of that we wanted extra: 1x large pizza. I asked for delivery by 6.30pm and he asked me to pay over the phone, he then informed me he couldn't take payment over the phone but assured me that when my order was delivered they would be able to process my card payment in person. By 7pm there was no sign of our order. We rang the shop at 7.10pm to chase up the whereabouts of our order, he tried to say they were about 15mins away, but clearly hadn't done our order. They showed up at 7:45pm. This pizza store is 10 minutes from our home. The driver then informed me I needed to call the shop to pay after they told me earlier they can't process payment over the phone? He struggled to then work out how to process payment over the phone. They also failed to deliver our entire order. I rang the shop asking where the rest was. The man then insisted I never ordered the missing items. Even though I'd been charged for the amount of the order. Eventually I was passed onto someone else who informed me that he was sorry the person I spoke to doesn't know how to use the eftpos machines. They then said they would deliver the missing part of the order. At 9.10pm the driver called and said he drove to caulfield south. Not sure how they managed to know my address for the first delivery but for the second one they now don't know where to go? He showed up at 9.30pm with the rest of the order being cold. I haven’t ordered from here in a while but it looks like they’ve had some changes, for the better!

The menu has more affordable sides available and are quite generous portions. The carbonara is really good considering it’s a pizza place, I actually like it better than some Italian restaurants. The pizza is delicious too and consistent, which used to be an issue before.

The delivery staff are friendly and always have a big smile. There was an issue with my order that was rectified immediately, the customer service was great.

Delivery took less time than stated on the app.

If you are a delivery customer, order from Menulog instead of Deliveroo, it’s more reasonable in $. It’s a shame Deliveroo does this as I always thought it was the restaurant prices and therefore would rarely order from them.

Tasty food, reasonable prices, great service and quick delivery, what more could you want. Will definitely be ordering more...

Pizza is great! No complaints on the food! But the offers that you guys pose are really misleading, after 9 pizzas 10th pizza is free and there’s another fake promotion saying birthday month free pizza and I have literally ordered 4 pizzas in the last 2 weeks itself and the staff even after talking to the manager got back to us saying it’s only valid in app or website but that is ALWAYS DOWN AND NEVER TAKES ANY FORMS THAT WR FILL OR OFFERS THAT WE CHOOSE OR NEVER TAKES IN ANY ORDER! So we always order through the phone and even the staff I spoke to today was able to see that we have definitely ordered well more than 9 pizzas and it’s my birthday month as well and literally it’s like no worth trying to get anything here!
