At the top end of Carnegie's Koornang Road you'll find Ramen & Dumpling House - a delightful culinary oasis for Asian cuisine aficionados.

Don't overlook the refreshing Cucumber Side. Glistening slices of crisp cucumber are marinated in a delicate blend of garlic, sesame oil, and mild ginger. This dish is a masterful play of textures and flavors. The cucumbers remain crunchy, acting as a cool respite, while the dressing adds a hint of warmth and complexity. It's the perfect palate cleanser, setting the stage for the main courses. The simplicity of this starter belies its depth, making it a must-try for anyone seeking a burst of freshness with an Asian twist.

Next is a hearty forkful of the delectable Shanghai Fried Noodles, and you're transported to the bustling alleys of Shanghai itself. These noodles, generously stir-fried with a medley of fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoned meat, strike a harmonious balance between savory and umami, a dance of flavors that lingers on the palate.

But the gastronomic journey doesn't end there. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is a symphony in its own right. Delicately crisped chicken, cloaked in a lusciously tangy sauce, is complemented by the vibrant hues of bell peppers and pineapple chunks. Each bite is a delightful crunch, a juxtaposition of sweet, sour, and everything in between.

For an authentic taste journey through Asia, the Ramen & Dumpling House is a must-visit. Bon...

Went to the ironically named Ramen and Dumpling house this evening with my room mate - we’re just room mates, it’s not a thing. When ordering our meal, the waitress was rude and abrupt; and really disliked waiting as I found the item I wanted on the menu. Yeah, not so bad - my fault for losing the page and we all have bad nights. While we waited for our food. We had to ask for water, and tea. Still, it happens...

Once we got our food, we received it in a weird order. I got my main first, while my friend got her starter dumplings first. Naturally we picked at the dumplings whilst waiting on my main...

Then, my starters arrive. So we ate those. Then finally, I just gave in and ate my main because; well, screw Jill. Anyway we waited and waited and her food never arrived. After asking where it was, we were dutifully replied ‘not far at all’. Our suspicions were confirmed when indeed, they advised they had forgotten after waiting over an hour.

After asking for the bill, it arrived with items we hadn’t even ordered. Now I have to go home to a hungry and grumpy room mate, whom is now smoking in the lounge room out of spite....

2.5 stars ⭐️ A bit disappointed in Ramen and Dumpling house. I have heard really good things from reliable sources but maybe they were having a bad day because everything we ordered weren’t that great.

The wonton in chilli sauce is not wonton but dumplings in a not so chilli puddle, the fried mantou looked like tiny little shrunken versions of what I was used to. The shanghai fried noodles were passible but the Shanghai soup dumplings (XLb) was terrible. The garlic pork belly had this really strong pork smell, which I wasn’t a huge fan of.

the deep fried pork spare ribs was nice , it has soft bones which is chewable (calcium ftw!), and the garlic GAi lan Chinese veggies were nice. the squid ink dumplings wasn’t too bad either, but not worth us going out of the way for a visit. Too bad though because the service...

Just found another great spot! Came here with a friend for some dinner and we were very happy! It's a standard looking dumpling restaurant, Service was friendly and accomidating which is always a winner! Food was great! We loved everything we ordered! Big servings, everything full of flavour and the dumplings were a stand out!! Specialty pan fried pork were juicy and flavoursome and the crispy parts are my favourite! The wontons in chilli and peanute sauce had great flavour too! Everything was great and very very reasonably priced!! Dont change a thing please! Rice noodles with chicken was saucy, tasty and a great portion. And I can never go without ordering a spring onion pancake! Yum! Will definitely be back. (No ramen on the menu?)

Randomly walked in this restaurant and wow it was surprisingly good!! We ordered some dumplings and the 5 spice beef and they were so yum, so authentic and very reasonably priced! The staff were very nice and attentive, definitely going back soon. A side note for non Chinese customers that the ‘ramen’ at this restaurant is not Japanese ramen but Chinese hand-pulled noodles - they happen to be the same word in Chinese so hence the ‘ramen’ translation which is a little misleading, but you should definitely try the noodles it’s the best.
