Cuppa Turca is a hidden gem in Melbourne that offers an exceptional Turkish coffee and dessert experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating that makes it the perfect spot for a casual catch-up with friends or a relaxing solo coffee break. The standout items on the menu are undoubtedly the kunafe and fistikzade. The kunafe is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert that consists of crispy shredded pastry, sweet cheese, and a drizzle of syrup. The version at Cuppa Turca is perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and a beautiful golden color. The fistikzade, on the other hand, is a delightful pistachio cookie that's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It's a perfect accompaniment to the Turkish coffee, which is brewed to perfection and served in beautiful copper cups. What sets Cuppa Turca apart is the attention to detail and the commitment to quality. The desserts are made fresh daily and with the highest quality ingredients, resulting in a dessert experience that's both satisfying and memorable. Overall, if you're a fan of Turkish coffee and desserts, I highly recommend giving Cuppa Turca a try. The kunafe and fistikzade are standout items on the menu, and the Turkish coffee is simply delightful. So head over to Cuppa Turca and indulge in some of the best Turkish coffee and desserts in Melbourne!

If you’re craving an authentic Turkish-style dessert packed with pistachios and kunafa, this café restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. The flavour is rich, fresh, and genuinely delicious, easily one of the best I’ve had in Melbourne. Their presentation is professional, and the staff serve everything with a warm and friendly attitude that makes the whole experience even better. I’ve tried similar places across the city, but this one truly stands out for its unique taste and quality. One detail that really caught my attention was their creative choice of cutlery holders. Instead of standard trays, they use small Turkish-style sweet tins, possibly repurposed halva containers. It’s such a clever and stylish touch, giving the tables a distinctive, authentic charm you don’t usually see elsewhere. Don’t expect bargain prices; what you’re paying for is the high quality, freshness, and great service. And to finish it off perfectly, enjoy your dessert with a Turkish coffee or tea. Highly recommended.

✅ This Turkish ice cream (dondurma) is absolutely amazing. It's such a unique texture compared to say gelato — it's stretchy and a touch chewy. You really need to try this out! ✅ The flavours of the dondurma are wonderful, they are not overpowering, but are rich enough to satisfy! My favourite was the Rose and Molasses & Walnut. The rose is not overpowering, it is subtle but such a wonderful flavour. The Molasses & Walnut is nutty and earthy! I was extremely impressed. ✅ The cafe itself is beautiful. There is a wonderful Turkish feel - there is plenty of different spots to sit. There is the lounge area, benches, a big long table and regular seating. ✅ Lots of Turkish desserts to try out and wonderful Turkish coffee. ✅ The owner is amazing - he truly wants you to come by hang out and enjoy yourself. He is very friendly and happy to chat! Do yourself a favour and head on down there! I cannot recommend it enough!

On the 29th of September 2022 at around 10pm I parked my car on high street infant of Cuppa Turca Dondurma & Kunef and i had the very unpleased experience to meet the owner of this shop!

While i was in my car parked (legally and without bothering anyone), I was waiting for my friend to come so i could pick him up when a "gentleman" who is the owner of this place knocked very aggressively on my window so I pulled my window down to see what he wanted.

As soon as the window was down he started screaming and demanded me to take my car and park it somewhere else because he wanted to park his own car infront of his shop like he owned the street.

Even though i explained to him nicely that I will live in about 5-10mins (even though the parking spot is for the whole night) he started screaming at me, he threaten me that he will call the people from his shop to "take care of me" if i don't remove my car and he ABUSED me by physically touching me on my face and my shoulders.

All this time I was not blocking anyone, i was not bothering anyone, I was not parked there illegally! I was just sitting in my car listening to music and waited for my friend to come.

Very rude and aggressive person! Please do not give your money to this type of people!

As i live in the area and I walk across this shop often, if this happens again i will take...

Thank you for responding to my review. Firstly, I'd like to clarify that I did not make negative remarks regarding any particular ethnicity in my review. Secondly, your response to my review highlights the concerning state of your customer service. If you genuinely value treating customers with respect, you would have at least written I'm sorry you felt that way as it was not our intention to create this experience for you. Thirdly, my comment was not about the quality of your food as we enjoyed the desserts we ate, but rather my comments were directed at the way your waitress behaved towards us. We frequently eat at dessert and icecream shops, what sets them apart is the warm and friendly atmosphere. A simple smile is the most significant gift you can offer to your customers. Wishing you...
