Diesel Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in Melbourne

Had a fantastic experience here last night. Diesel Bar and Eatery combines the aesthetic of a modern flashy Melbourne bar with the more chill, laidback and homey vibe of any classic Aussie pub.

Went out with a large group and we ordered several drinks and dishes. Menu highlights include the fresh Carlton beer (tank was super cool!), purple haze and monk’s mojito cocktails, the wedges with dips and the snack pizza!

Pretty decent servicing sizes for the price and exceptional service by the staff. Want to give a shout out to KAI, fantastic service and love his energy! Knows his stuff on the bar and was super friendly, attentive and accommodating to us the whole night!

Overall a super positive experience and would go back again to try out more of their menu and for the amazing and friendly service from the staff. Thanks so much for a great night guys! 5/5...

I booked a table on a Friday night but had to call them to let them know we were going to be late - they were very accomodating about it - and even made sure we had a good table.

The food was brilliant. The lamb cutlets on a mash for myself - the lamb was cooked perfectly, my only complaint being that I finished it too quickly - but thats on me. My friend had the linguine with prawns - and like me, found it disappeared a little too quickly.

The waiter that served us went above and beyond - knowledgeable, friendly, and had some recommendations for drinks to be paired with my friends food.

I recently visited Diesel Bar in the heart of Melbourne, and I was genuinely impressed by the experience. The manager, Sonam, is hands down one of the coolest and most professional people I’ve met in hospitality. From the moment we arrived, he made sure my friends and I were looked after, going above and beyond to provide excellent service.

You can really tell that Sonam leads by example. The staff were friendly, attentive, and created such a welcoming atmosphere. It’s rare to find a place where you feel that looked after, and it made our night so much more enjoyable.
