Read moreExtremely rude staff, the security guards treat people like shit and act like they are the king of this world. I have always been bringing a drink into the library and i go there nearly every single week. So guard ever had told me to throw out my drink. I thought i was allowed to have the drink and it was canned. I never knew that i wasn't allowed to and other people who were bringing in canned drinks were not being told to throw it out. However this time a guard came up with hands in pockets and in a disrespectful manner and tone to tell me to throw away my drink. I am happy to follow the library policy and throw away my drink if i am asked nicely. I explained how other people had it as well and no piror enforcement were placed on me bringing a can, he just replied how he doesn't care. His attitude is unexceptable. I asked if I could check the library policy, because I was never aware of this issue, he told me to go with him but I had extreme cramps and couldnt get out. I asked if there are policy online so i can see without getting up. He just said if i want to see the policy then I had to go with him. I asked again if I could check the policy online, he responded me to "see for myself" it was just a simple yes or no question, not that hard. I have always loved to come to the state library, now I hate this place. The other staff members were nice and always polite when asking people to for example have a bag around the umbrella before entering...
