The fish and chips are good- the batter is nice and fluffy and chewy crisp. The only problem now is the portion size of chips when you purchase their packs. Looks like your old classic Fish and Chips local place however the chips are very small portion sizing when you get the meal for one or dinner for 2. I was quite taken aback because its prob a handful of the medium size portion of Mc Donald's for thick big chips? Are they cutting costs? Do they think people dont eat much chips? I dont know but there are many fish and chip places in the area now so it depends if like to still come here or check...
Read moreRipped off that's all I can say. After going to Dinah parade for many years I've noticed the last few times quantity and quality has decreased dramatically. Let's start. Chips are oily as and the chicken salt tastes like salt. Potato cakes are more like batter cakes. Where's the potato inside it? The fish is 3mm thick. May as well just eat the flour. And then to top it off prices have gone up too! Not sure if it's the new Asian influence in the shop but seems like a takeover is imminent. You've lost this long term customer and with prices going up everywhere I hope others realise what a tip off...

The atmosphere would be higher but it’s just a fish and chip shop, in my opinion this is the highest rating for atmosphere you can get in a fish and chip shop. Not their fault. Great, soft chips and absolutely massive chicken burgers (like they have 2 or 3 whole schnitzels in them!! And they aren’t small schnitzels either). Still relatively good pricing with consistently delicious food. We don’t plan on stopping going to here for fish and chips...
