Meal: I ordered two pizzas via the Domino’s app. When I got home, I found that the chicken pizza (the one that had to be remade) was completely burnt. The bottom was black, the top was overcooked, and it looked and smelled unsafe to eat. The other pizza was cold by then, likely because it had been sitting for over 10 minutes while I waited for the other one to be remade. This ruined our dinner. Presentation: The burnt pizza had visible blackened areas on top and the bottom was all charred black. It was unappetizing and clearly overcooked. The cold pizza had obviously been sitting too long and was no longer fresh. Both pizzas were below Domino’s usual standard. Service: I went into the store when the app and the in-store screen both showed my order was ready. I was then told it wasn’t, so I sat down to wait. A staff member later asked if I had been helped and explained that one of the pizzas needed to be remade. When my order was finally ready, the staff member who handed it to me seemed annoyed and gave it to me without a smile or greeting. The overall service was unfriendly and confusing. More: No explanation was given for why the pizza needed to be remade. The staff member’s attitude made it clear something was off. This whole experience was disappointing, from the wait and poor communication to the inedible food and lack of customer care. I requested a refund for this order but have had no response. Read moreWe are local so have tried here numerous times. When ordering in store it is very unprofessional, almost always with someone young who is unable to use the computers & takes ages. Ordering online - forget about it. They forget your orders & when we have called to politely inquire we are put on hold for 5mins at a time with someone coming back to the line apologising for forgetting the order, even having a little laugh the last time! This has happened on numerous occasions! We won’t be going back that’s for sure, very disappointing because the thick shakes are delish, just not worth the continual frustration & muck around.
