Tried both the gyros and the open plate at Ermou Gyros and really enjoyed both. Felt like the closest I’ve had to what a proper gyro would be like in Greece—even though I haven’t been! The pita is warmed up on oil and has this nice glaze to it, super flavourful. The meat was cut up pretty fine, which was different to other places I’ve tried, but I rated the style.

They really pack the gyros and chips—everything feels generous and well put together. The chips come stacked and kind of mushed in the best way. The open plate was $22 which I thought was solid value, especially with halloumi included (a lot of places make you add that on). Got recommended this spot by a Greek mate and it definitely hit the mark. Great feed overall.
