We celebrated our Wedding, after being Married on a cruise in December, here on Saturday night (4th May) with family and friends. It was a fantastic night and exactly what we wanted. The process of booking the venue, choosing the platters and drinks for our tab was made easy thanx to Shae from Pratt Hospitality Group (who manages the venue bookings). Brilliant communication and checking in to ensure we got everything completed on time. The staff running the event and working the bar on the night were fantastic, friendly and efficient. The food was amazing!! Everyone raved about how delicious everything was, plenty of choices for our gluten free and vegetarian guests. The atmosphere and vibe was perfect for our event, photos playing on the tv brought back many happy memories and we had our playlist on to dance to. Everyone loved the photobooth, we brought our own props to represent our Cruise wedding and it was fun to go through all the photos when we received them the next day via email. Booked our wedding reception in the function room and the team were absolutely sensational from the get go.

Everything was so easy to organise. The night ran like clockwork, the food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. The waitress serving food found us regularly and made sure we got to try pretty much everything we ordered which was just so thoughtful of her. The fried chicken was a huge highlight! As were the lemon tarts and brownies.

All our guests commented on how awesome the space was and how good the staff were.

They even accommodated us gatecrashing the downstairs bar for some photos in the beautiful couches.

At every stage the whole team have been helpful, responsive and overall just absolute pleasures to deal with. If I could give them more than 5 stars I could.

We recently held our wedding reception at the Blacksmith Bar in Richmond, and we cannot recommend this venue enough! From the moment we started planning, the experience was seamless, professional, and so enjoyable—thanks to the incredible event sales manager, Shae. Shae went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect.

The Blacksmith Bar itself is stunning and is a perfect entry way into the upstairs private event space. Its cozy yet upscale ambiance is perfect for gatherings of all sizes. The food and drinks were exceptional, with so many compliments. The bar staff Kate and Brody were so fun and great with our guests. The private bathroom access and photo booth were a highlight.
