On 4 June we visited this historical spot in Richmond for lunch and we got: 🧀 Roasted Halloumi With Smoked Peppers & Hot Honey Crunchy exterior with juicy filling, naturally salty balanced with a kick from pepper & honey. 🧀 Burrata With Garlic Pizza Bread Light & creamy dish, soft burrata texture in contrast to the crusty bread, paired with delicious artichoke and pine nuts. Nice on its own or as a starter. 🔴 Bolognese Arancini With Parmesan and Truffle Mayo Classic arancini balls, fun to eat with nice complement from the perfect level of truffle in the mayo. 🍕 Chili Prawn Pizza & Margherita Pizza The woodfire pizza were legit! The dough was nicely chewy with crispy outer texture. Great amount of toppings to create a perfect bite with every slice. As the name suggested, this place was converted from a Post Office 💌 Located outside of the Richmond station, the historical landmark was very easy to spot. This is the place to go for a casual meal & drinks with friends or date! We got to try their new menu and the items we picked were incredible! Such high quality food from a not-so hidden gem 💎 We definitely recommend you to visit, especially on a sunny day cause you can enjoy the weather outside or the warm ray from the windows ☀️

We went to the Posty for dinner in a large group, half of whom were children. We were seated quickly and well looked after by staff. Our food came quickly, and was actually really delicious (we had a range of sides and pizzas). The staff were brilliant, as was our experience overall. Our only issue was that the chairs were a little high for kids to easily get up and down by themselves, and there wasn't anywhere to put a pram, but these are very small things and overall it went well. Also, look up when you first come in, the view up to the top of the turret is impressive

📍@thepostyrichmond, Richmond Last Sunday we visited The Posty Richmond for dinner and got to try one of their great deals 😍 They do a $25 Marg + Marg special every Wednesday and Sunday - we really loved that their margherita pizza is woodfired and you can choose your margarita (I got Tommy's) 👌🏻 Another highlight here were the starters, both the roasted halloumi and the burrata were perfect, highly recommend it 🤤 What we ordered: 🧀 Roasted Halloumi $19 🥗 Burrata $26 🍕 Marg & Marg $25 🎃 Pumpkin Pizza $24 🧉 Posty’s Spiked Mulled Cider $14

@thepostyrichmond 📍perfect spot for drinks & delicious wood fired pizzas, salads and more. We dined in their cute courtyard, but the dark wooden interior looked amazing too in this historic post office venue. The pork sausage pizza was surprisingly the fave, over the prosciutto and the prawn 🍤😋🫶🏻 ! Their fried calamari and tomato salad w mozzarella is a must order, and their meat balls were also tasty! 🤤 Great spot to visit before the tennis near Richmond station 🚉 !! The staff were super nice too. 🌟

The blood and bandages pub, next to the corner. Really it is opposite the corner, but the idea is the same, and the reference is sound, and I assume it was built in the vein of the City Baths on Swanston st, all red brick and cream render. At least the turret retains some Edwardian character, though the odd Ogee domes on the lower courses are incredibly hard to place, as though this were some higher beurocracy built upon the ruin of a Byzantine church.
