Finally went to Farro and yes it was great. The coffees were excellent, husband and I had flat whites and soy lattes. Then he had scrambled eggs on rye sourdough while I had avo smash with feta on rye sourdough. And finally an avo smash that didn't come automatically with eggs! They had to be ordered as an extra if you wanted them. Note the avo smash wasn't a massive serving, like some cafes, but I was satisfied. They have an interesting menu and sweet and savoury snacks to take away, eg. Bacon and egg rolls, Falafel wrap, buckwheat banana bread, etc. Really nice fit out too. Seating inside and out, street parking and conveniently located opposite Moorabbin train station. Will return to try the beans, get takeaway wrap and another delicious coffee.

Just caught this place out of the corner of my eye. Wow pleasant surprise. Owners l believe young attentive ladies serve with enthusiasm and professionalism. Had porridge and coffee. We joked about the coffee temperature and it was perfect - hotish side as it was meant to be served. I am sure coffee is served luke warm these days because barristers are in too much of a hurry and the automatic machines pump the coffee though far quicker now days. Looking forward to trying the yogurt and peanut butter breakfast cup. Definitely go to cafe.

A bit quiet on a Wednesday morning at Farro, which was good news for me and my wife - no trouble getting a table. Coffee was fine although a little lukewarm Jaffles were the highlight. Try the Reuben or the chilli beef (not all that spicy) Super tasty. Not a large number of seats. Could be tight getting to sit down in busy times. Staff were smiley, pleasant Probably the number one place for coffee in Moorabbin at the moment (?)

I wanted to take my daughter out for a nice lunch so chose this cafe. The menu looked really good. However the meals came out and they were smaller than a kids sized meal. I had the chilli and while it was nice, it was so tiny and cost $22! My daughter had a plain burger which cost $18 - didn’t even come with chips. I spoke to the manager how the size of the serves and the fact that we were still really hungry after spending $40, and she just shrugged her shoulders and said the serves have always been small. Will not be going back! So...
