On our way home today we stopped in to get some food for our daughter. It was 330pm. A women was mopping the floor right in front of the drinks cabinet. I apologised and tippitoed over the floor to get a drink saying I didn't want to ruin the floor and made sure I didn't use full feet. She then began a tantrum or eye rolling at me, huffing and puffing and throwing her mop water around. When I reminded her I did apologise she then said there is another drink cabinet and threw her arm in a direction which was hard to see. I am disgusted with such customer service as I was trying to do thr right thing and not ruin her floor, apologised and as we were new to the store we didn't see the other cabinet. Train the young staff better to manage their frustrations. I reminded her to be nice and kind especially since I apologised for having to walk over the mopping. Confused why at that time there needed to be a wash of the floor right in front of the drinks cabinet too. I get some customers are rude but we were so apologetic for getting our drink. Our smalll cup cake we also got was...

I usually visit this place at least once a week for the Angus beef pie, and I stopped by recently as well. When I walked in, a female staff member was making coffees and greeted me, saying sheād be with me in a second. She then asked a male employee (Indian/Middle Eastern, curly hair) who was standing near the counter to assist me. He acknowledged her and said yeah ok one second but didnāt move from his phone. She asked him again, and he completely ignored her. After finishing the coffees (more than half a dozen) for another customer, she finally served me after a wait of about 10-15 minutes.
I have no issues with the female employee; she was pleasant and tried her best, but it seems like the other guy wasnāt taking his responsibilities seriously. Looking at other reviews, it seems this is a recurring issue here. Itās clear management doesnāt value customers' time.
If you're looking for a more reliable experience, just head to the Doncaster locationāit's only a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDonāt know what I was thinking. I have been low carb for about 3 years, but because I am really sick, just felt like a meat pie⦠I couldnāt get the brand I was wanting, so my husband got an Angus pie from Ferguson Plarre ⦠what a disappointment. Apart from being full of seed oil (i.e. margarine/vegetable oil), itās loaded with other highly processed ingredients to effectively render it a UPF (ultra processed food) and the worst thing was that there was only one piece of meat, plus a few fragments in the whole pie! Easy to see why people are undernourished and over fed if they regularly consume items like this, masquerading as food. Clearly at $8.10, for one pie, overheads must be super expensive, because I do not see the value in the ingredients. Iāll stick to home made, real...
