Defensive customer service. I asked for a ham and cheese croissant, they gave me ham cheese tomato. It was takeaway so i dealt with it. Went in again this morning and asked for a ham and cheese croissant and told them about last time. They said "it comes with tomato already in it, i should have read the label". i was not making a complaint at this stage, i was asking for my order to be tailored as i wasnt advised on the tomato last time. I was then told "you should read the label" with total disregard to what i had ordered. I told them they could have advised they dont do ham and cheese at the time of ordering to which they said, without blinking an eyelid, "you should have read the label". I dont know, maybe im old fashioned or something buy they could have said, "oh, sorry about that. Would you like us to take the tomato out this time?" I cancelled my order and I went to the cafe next door called The Premises which had perfect service. And the croissants dont come preloaded with tomato. And the staff were attentive, reassuring and gererally nice. Go...

I spent $33.30 here.
REVIEW: Really filling. Generous portions and decent for a local joint. The spiced tomato relish was a great side to the corn fritters which adds sweetness and interest to the dish. I do wish there was more crispy kale (my favourite).
The soy chai latte isn't my favourite. I far prefer the one up Local Folk which is a 7 minute walk uphill away. The FOP soy chai latte tasted watered down, which made me a little sad. 😫
They have an outdoor area, which is great if you have a pet. Service is also really friendly too! I like how they personalise your takeaway cup with a...
