Subject: Commendation for Exceptional Customer Service
Dear Alice
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding customer service you provided to me recently.
As you may recall, I had purchased a cake for my husband's birthday, a tradition he holds dear to his heart, from your store. Unfortunately, the cake I received melted within an hour due to unforeseen circumstances. I was disheartened, but your response to this situation was nothing short of exemplary.
You not only replaced the cake promptly but also went above and beyond by offering me another cake for my husband's birthday. This gesture meant the world to me and my family as we were worried that my husband's special tradition would be compromised. Your kindness and understanding in this situation were truly remarkable.
In addition to your generosity, I was pleasantly surprised when you processed a refund for the original cake order. Your willingness to rectify the situation and ensure customer satisfaction was greatly appreciated.
Your dedication to customer service and your consideration of our family's tradition did not go unnoticed. Your professionalism and respect in handling this matter demonstrated your commitment to going the extra mile for your customers.
I want to express my gratitude for your exceptional service, and I believe you exemplify the qualities that every customer looks for when they engage with a business. Your actions have not only retained a loyal customer but have also reinforced my confidence in your store.
Thank you once again, Alice, for your outstanding customer service. It is people like you who make a significant difference in the world of retail and customer satisfaction. I will be sure to recommend your store to my friends and family based on the fantastic experience I had with you.
Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors and looking forward to continuing to do business with your...
Read moreMessina always knows how to do just the right amount of flavours and add-ins without overdoing it. I've loved every scoop I've ever had from them, with the vegan pandan and the pannacotta with fig jam being two standouts. But today, I went for something far more decadent- a double scoop of two specials, one banana gelato with dulce de leche and caramelised peanuts, and the second chocolate gelato with fudge and chocolate nougatine.
Let me tell you, I was expecting a terrible sugar rush and stomach ache, but ended up with neither. Guess that's what you get when you opt for desserts made with good ingredients. The first flavour didn't taste too strongly of banana, a flavour I love when natural but detest when artificial. The dulce de leche, a favourite childhood condiment of mine, was used just sparingly enough to compliment the mix without overpowering. In comparison to this flavour, the chocolate scoop was much more subdued, and it's subtle bitterness a welcome contrast to the saccharine counterpart. The nougatine was to die for, with the taste and texture of a toffee infused chocolate biscuit.
Best part of all was that I got my cone for free via Liven. Love that app! Just one more reason to reaffirm my very high regard for...
Read moreMy go-to Messina! It's a 2-minute walk from East Richmond station and worth-it for whenever you are craving gelato. The people who work there are always so friendly and sweet; I love that they don't mind letting you try a bunch of flavours (perfect considering all their flavours are amazing!) I love trying all the specials and their classic flavours are equally as good.
My favourite flavours are tiramisu (it's the best I've ever had), pistachio praline, vanilla and super dulce de leche. Some of their best specials (in my opinion) are You Cannoli Live Once, Fairy Bread and Peanut Butter Florentine. There's roughly 40 flavours in store so I assure you that there's a flavour perfect for you.
I'll admit, sometimes the scoops can vary in size (some scoopers are more generous than others) but for the quality of gelato, the price is more than worth it. Plus, if you get their rewards app (and frequent them as much as I do) you'll eventually earn enough points to get a free scoop (or save up enough to get a free tub!)
Attached photo is a two scoop with two of their weekly specials, PBJ (Toasted bread gelato with peanut spread and raspberry jam) and Pump It Up (Spiced pumpkin gelato with vanilla whipped cream...
