Gelato Papa — Restaurant in Melbourne

I saw this place is always busy and thought to try it out. I had one scoop of Turkish delight. Let's say one scoop was more like half a scoop and the icecream itself. Sickly sweet . Am I wrong in expecting it to have bits of Turkish delight throughout and tasting like Turkish delight which it did not. Tasted like manufactured rubbish. Won't be back . Disappointing that icecream places have been told to be frugal with the scoops. I've also passed this review to local people i know and they will not come here . Edit : not my job to make the staff know what a proper scoop is. That's your job . Seems to be a common reply from ice cream shops . I wanted one scoop not half. What a lovely gelato shop! Perfectly located near the train station and the bike path, it’s the ideal stop for a treat! Super family friendly with few tables outside and a vast range of flavours, there’s one to please everyone for sure. I love to follow them on Instagram as well to stay in touch and find out about their special flavours and offers. The ice cream is ok, nothing special and more watery than it should be. Too pricey considering the amount you get. The biggest problem I had was the service which was bad and intense - as soon as I walked in it was as though I am expected to know immediately what flavours I want although the shop was empty.
