Pizza Stazione — Restaurant in Melbourne

Ordered online via the website for a dinner delivery. Lamb ribs and a large Margherita was the order. The information via the site was that delivery would be around 45 mins which I thought was more than reasonable on a hot Friday night at at the end of summer. Received a call approximately 10 mins after ordering that Lamb ribs are no longer available on the menu and declined any other items on the menu (all carbs), hence the $3.50 delivery cost just became a significant cost to the order. I agreed to just the pizza as my 7 yr old son was quite hungry at this stage and it was his 'takeaway night' turn. 20 mins after the expected delivery time, a driver arrived rather nonchalantly and delivered what was a fairly good pizza. He didn't have the correct change and I didn't bother insisting after watching him fumble around with his bum-bag for 2 mins with little to no interest with what customer service actually involved. Hands down the best pizza I've had all year. The menu is really diverse with heaps of options, the crusts are delicious and pizzas come in four sizes. The perfect mix of modern and old style. The young guys on the front counter were friendly and polite and set the tone for an excellent experience. This should be a 5 🌟 review but they lost a star because the boss yelled at one of his staff in front of a shop full of customers. Mate, you are killing it in there. Your staff are such an asset to you. There's no need to humiliate someone when they make a mistake. I can't accept that just because you guys always speak to each other like this that it is ok. You are a role model to those kids working for you, show them what an awesome leader looks like. Be someone who is running a successful, high quality businesss and managing his team...

Goldilocks Pizza...Just right!!!

Absolutely THE best Pizza I've had in the whole of Melbourne. I moved to Australia craving a real tasting pizza, after spending a lot of time in the US, and living in New York. (Yes, I'm a huge pizza snob!)

Pizza Stazione ABSOLUTELY delivers that!! Perfect base, perfect tomato sauce, perfect consistency; and the additional ingredients are fantastic, just the right amount, and super fresh! Super-fast delivery, the staff seem awesome, and really care about their product and service..100% Australia's BEST pizza if you're craving a real NYC taste!

After coming close to losing total faith in Australian pizza, as 99% are truly awful... I discovered Pizza Stazione, and would not go anywhere else ever again.
