Gloria Jean's Caroline Springs — Restaurant in Melbourne

Been here a few times over the past few months and each time its a different level of service, so I would to summize that this place is quite inconsistent. The inconsistency that I hate the most is figuring out if there is table service or not. I go to the register to put the order in and pay for a sit in coffee, and I have been multiple times been told after hearing my order being called several times from the outside area, that I need to go and carry my own coffee mug and saucer to my own table. Then there's other times they being it to me?

Today, I witnessed another customer supposedly order an iced coffee and after drinking it came back to the coffee counter to say they didn't order syrup with their iced coffee but was yelled by the older lady with short hair who was standind at the pay register "you get what you ordered". Then the customer not knowing what to do walked away and I heard them say, "I didn't know every iced coffee comes with syrup". Which I also concur, I didn't know coffees automatically come with sweetener.

Service is just inconsistent...

Considering we are living in a Covid - 19 Climate and businesses are trying to survive that you would go above and beyond to keep your regular customers. Not the case at Gloria Jeans Caroline Springs!!!

My friend and I had ordered coffees and it is the first day of wearing masks in public. We were quite abruptly told once that they didn’t want trouble ( we were quickly drinking our coffees in the shop (and social distancing) with our masks on one ear ( how else are we supposed to drink them??). We again got told they didn’t want any trouble- we are ladies in our 50’s, what trouble are we causing.

The girl serving us was Caucasian with dark brown hair. After doing my grocery shopping, I was walking back to my car only to see the same staff member WITHOUT her mask on and laughing with a couple (also not wearing masks and social distancing)! Sorry, not sorry Gloria Jeans! You’ve lost 3 loyal customers in a time when you should be doing EVERYTHING possible to keep customers. Try Billy’s Paddock people, much better coffee and of...

I've just been to the Caroline Springs Gloria Jeans, while the service was good, the cleanliness of the place is nothing short of disgusting, the windows havent been cleaned in weeks, neither has the floor, it desperately needs a sweep let alone a mop, the wall beside the bin has food and drink spilled on it and the top of the bin is full of crumbs and drink marks, all this before the lunch time rush The wall behind the seats needs a wash and the front counter has dust on it (near the kick board) 3mm thick This has to be the most disgusting cafe I've ever been into If that's the standard now accepted by Gloria jeans, I can't see the chain...
