I know a new owner takeover the restaurant. I honestly present my opinion 1. If you want to keep the same menu after takeover, please do not give less food than previous. 2. Please give fresh raw food to customer. 100% the sashimi/ sushi fish slices have been 3 day long at least, or you put the raw food in room temperature more than 4 hours if it is fresh fish cut 3. Change the sushi rice style. It is not acceptable, even worse than sushi sushi. 4. The Chinese waiter I am not sure he is owner related or not. But he does not talk to customer and not present “smile” he needs to be trained again. 5. It is better to organise what food should come first as many Aussie. Especially the drinks should be serviced first. 6. Akari is a good staff to provide friendly and well care service to customer as normal. Hopefully you can keep her as your best. 7. I know it is impossible that the taste is same as previous owner. But need to tell you that all food tastes are doing down compared with previous. It is my first time to see an empty table in the restaurant on Saturday night. It is not normal. I understand It is not easy to keep the business as the previous owner doing really well. I believe these points might help you for improvement.

I dont know what happened to this place since I used to come here weekly before covid, but the service was absolutely not up to par. Firstly, I was IGNORED and the customer behind me was served first since they were a big family (I was solo). When the food was ready for takeaway, I discovered they are asking every customer to carry hot food in uninsulated containers without a bag (and burning their fingers in the process). This is the first restaurant I've ever been to in my life that refuses to offer bags for hot food takeaway. It's a tough time in hospitality, but seriously, if you have no idea how to do takeaway, and cant afford the 3c bagging customer's food for food safety and health regulations reasons for an $18 dish, then just dont do it.

Service 3🌟 Ambience 5🌟 Food quality 5🌟 This is a nice restaurant the food is fresh super light. The servings are on the small side however the pricing is reasonable. The menu is quiet limited when it comes to the sushi rolls, it’s quiet funny the restaurant was not overly busy they young guy would communicate with the older guy on who sits where in Japanese, i under stand Japanese so it’s quiet funny. They stuck a single person on a table of 4 while they stuck two bigger girls on a smaller table for two so didn’t have much room. The tables are quiet close together. The service is a little rushed which I didn’t like. I will be back to try more things from the men, depending on the service I’ll update this review.
