This is probably the definition of the late night dinner spot to party and eat, which opens till 2am at night! Known for their viral MALA hotpot which is numbing yet sweet and savoury, they also have other popular South Korean street foods and comfort foods at an insane quality. Their soju-infused cocktails are the perfect pair.
🍲 Volcano Mala Hot Pot $32 3.5/5 🍗 Snowing Cheese Fried Chicken/Spicy (half/half) $35 4.25/5 🍤 Seafood & chive Pancake $28 4.75/5 🦀 soy marinated crab 3.25/5 🍟 honey butter garlic chips 4.3/5
Texture of the fried chicken and seafood pancake was the highlight of the night. Great flavours, great textures. One thing I’d mention is the beef in the mala hot pot was a bit tough but once you get into that bite, it is super rich, yet slightly sweet from that Korean twist. Honey butter garlic fries were a creamy version of loaded fries and I’m all for it bc it tastes like the garlic cream cheese loaf flavour that Koreans love.
If you want vibes as close to the Pocha in Seoul & Busan, Golmokgil is the spot. It’s those hidden alleyway spots that will make your late night dining experience fun and unforgettable. Brings me back to my post-feeds...

Upon entry: the option to take a pic, that prints, leaving you with a memory of your visit.
Two: QR code to order at table...option to pay on app or at counter....and then it's a short wait for your meals to arrive. The menu has alot of options. I ordered the tuna/mayo rice balls; Half/half pancake; bimbimbap; apricot soju; Terra beer...😉
Three: first impressions last: from outside, the yellow on the front of this joint makes it pop amongst the dullness of its surroundings....
Four: I loved the experience of mixing and rolling the rice balls myself. The meals were larger in size than I expected, satisfying my palate with every bite.
I recommend if you're in the area..pop in, take a pic, eat good food...I could say more, but I don't want to give too much away..Come and try it yourself...compliments to those in the kitchen and to the front staff who greeted me...
