Of course I had to try the Peking Duck seeing that this place is called Grandma's Peking Duck, and was I happy that I did. Juicy and tender duck, with crispy skin, and a good ratio of meat and fat. What surprised me was the rather generous portion size. Definitely good value for money, as it also comes with complimentary duck soup filled with more meat and tofu. The big plate chicken was a bit different from those that I have tried, but it was flavourful nonetheless. Executed well and huge serving size, this would feed 2 to 3.

Worse, everyone had a scowl on their face the entire time we were there. Lots of argument sounds coming from the kitchen. Or was it just the kitchen staff chatting. Very unprofessional. Will not visit again.

Most disappointing take away meal I have had. Ordered online to pick up & when I arrived at the time requested by the restaurant they couldn't find my order, then waited another 15 minutes with no apologises and staff member was so rude. Quickly added another dish to my order, when I arrived home couldn't believe what I had paid for??? my half peking duck cold and disgusting, my vegetable fried noodles was just full of noodles and no vegetables and our fried prawn dumplings were watery. After attempting to call via phone, I went back to this restaurant with my order, the staff were all so rude and were laughing at me bringing back the order, after always dining on Koornang Rd, Carnegie just around the corner and never having any issues like this I would strongly advise not to go to this restaurant. I would have thought in these times they would be accomodating and understanding, but just plain rude and never wanted to listen or apologise. Obviously not looking for...

Would rate 1 star however food is good but overpriced for the cuisine. The service is completely lacking. Ordered online for pick up with a timer of 15 mins on their website, only to be told that it would be another 35 mins when arriving at the restaurant. Went back after 35 mins, to be told again to wait. 80 min wait time for pick up / takeaway order for only 2 dishes. Staff severly lack customer service skills in communicating wait time and time management for orders coming in - from reading previous reviews this seems to be a...
