Haru Bakery House — Restaurant in Melbourne

I went so many times,and every time I went just got even more disappointed.

The first two three time,it was perfect experience. But after that,everytime we went always have something wrong.

Chai latte was overcooked,so it tasted really bitter. 3 times we ordered any coffee with almond milk but 2 times they put fresh milk We think ,alright ..we just don’t order coffee from them anymore.Today we went to buy the breads. First,they don't have Taro anymore. The lady said they won't make this flavor anymore. And second,the worst one. The bread I bought definitely not made this morning. It’s not soft,once you eat it,you know it definitely not fresh.

It’s ok if the price is not more expensive than other shops but their price is a bit higher than others. If it’s good quality and fresh bread ,I am happy to pay for that .But it just taste like supermarket quality or might be worst. So disappointing (I bought cheese ham sandwich,and cranberry bread for today .)

I purchased an escargot and a chocolate brioche. The escargot was aesthetically pleasing. The insides were fluffy and I adored the taste of the glazing and the raisins / currants. I rarely frequent bakeries as I believe that most bakeries cater to the low standards and non-existent tastebuds of white Australians. I much prefer to occasionally drop in to specialty, French-style or Japanese bakeries, who evidently treat baking as a craft. Amazing pastries and cakes! I initially stopped by to pick up a Too Good To Go order and was blown away by the quality of the food and the approachability of the store. Can absolutely confirm that the moment I got home, I gobbled down their crossaints and was floored with how delicious it was. I also picked up an earl grey peach cake and regretted not getting the larger size!
