Hawthorn Road Bakery — Restaurant in Melbourne

Had a pork roll there that tasted fine but certainly didn't taste like a banh mi. Staff are nice/pleasant to deal with. Some thoughts on the roll:

Butter was used instead of lard/pate Roast pork tasted fine Hoisin sauce used instead of the normal Banh Mi flavour. Bread wasn't very crunchy (outside) or soft in the inside. Price was standard (I think around $7.50)

Super fast, friendly and efficient staff that were patient and helpful. We arrived just after lunch time to a queue, but the line moved super fast and everyone was served promptly with lots of smiles.
