Rude. Defensive. For a cafe at a children's hospital, it's ironic they serve old food. The chicken was dry to the point where you can see the edge of it dark and hard. The avocado has browned and spotted - the staff explained its been in the fridge. Which, I understand but once it gets THAT dark, it should just be thrown out đ¤Śđťââď¸. I should have taken the photo before returning it. Thankfully, they replaced it, but not without their defensiveness. I was eating with my family - husband, baby and 3y.o toddler. Toddlers are MESSY. Surely, a cafe at a CHILDREN'S hospital should understand that? Why am I reprimanded for not cleaning up yet? I am still in the middle of eating. I can clean up towards AFTER I am done eating. Or was he expecting me to clean WHILE I eat. Was there a need for his sarcasm when he pointed to the bin and said "the bin is there"? Although I usually clean up after myself, isn't it their job to clean up and wipe down the tables? This is the first time I've had someone working at a cafe tell me to clean up the table after myself.

The guy unhappily says, â we open at 6â the woman placing chair tells me, âcan you go over there?â Pointing away from her, like telling me yo go away from the premises but I wasnât in anyoneâs way coz nobody was there! Then proceeds to ignore me and yaps with the guy happily like I was inconvenience. Gentlemen couldâve greeted me, say something like âsorry we open at 6 if you can please wait 10 more minutes?â Women with chair could learn how not to be rude. So, told myself, I can take my business elsewhere and walked away. Youâve lost your first customer due to poor customer service skills let alone your coffee or food. What a shame, youâre located in hospital where people come in desperate needs. Itâs not a Holiday Inn đ¨, be kind please. Not...
