I recently visited Hoang Yen in Springvale, and it was a fantastic dining experience! The Bun Bo Hue was absolutely delicious – rich, flavorful broth with the perfect amount of spice. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside and packed with flavor on the inside, a great start to the meal. I also tried the honey chicken, and it was cooked to perfection: tender, juicy, and covered in a perfect honey glaze that wasn’t too sweet. The female boss I believe was extremely kind, made me feel invited and she made the atmosphere feel welcoming and comfortable. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese spots I’ve tried in the area. Can’t wait to come back!

The pho was absolutely delicious and has no msg, the meat quality was spectacular and the good friendly service made me feel so welcomed. Their spring rolls and fried rice tasted so good and the flavours were amazing. The portion sizes are bigger but also have great quality! These people have brought Asia to Australia! I would 100% recommend coming here, and I would definitely go here again!

This is the place to eat at springvale if you want home cooked Vietnamese food at affordable price! I finally found a spot that can satisfy my Viet food craving. Very helpful staff that are more than happy to recommend new dishes in their large menu! The resturant give a homey vibe and I'll definitely dine in the next time round!

I have mixed feelings. The food is nice, the ratio between meat and veggies is disappointing for its price point. The waitress was impatient and rude. We've only just arrived and still deciding which dishes (hasn't even been five minutes and it wasn't busy). We moved their cutlery and sauce try to a far corner so our 1.5 y.o does not get to it, which annoyed the older waitress (we didn't want our child's fingers all over the sauces and cutlery). The waitress also offered some hard candy to our 1.5y.o to stop her from reaching the cutlery, out of politeness, we took one but it would be a choking hazard so did not give to 1.5y.o. We asked if they happen to have a softer lolly instead since our 1.5y.o now wanted the hard lollies, which annoyed the waitress, muttering in Vietnamese we are greedy for lollies (probably thinking we either can't hear or understand). I do understand sometimes bringing children can be stressful, but we are trying to be mindful of them by not having her touch everything or run amok. I did not appreciate the feeling of being criticised or feeling as if we're a nuisance for a baby doing what babies do at what appears to be a family friendly restaurant (there were 2 other families with kids under 5 with them) Also found a plastic bag piece in my coconut drink towards the end. Overall, I acknowledge the sauce/marinate for the meat is nice. But the ratio of food, attitude, impatience and rudeness cancelled that out. I personally will not be...

If you're looking for an authentic, flavorful Vietnamese dining experience, this place is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, inviting service and a cozy, yet vibrant atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes, and everything we tried was exceptional. The Pho was perfectly balanced with rich broth, tender meat, and fresh herbs. The Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pancakes) was crispy and bursting with flavor, and the Goi Cuon (spring rolls) were a refreshing, light start to the meal.

What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail in every dish—each bite was a perfect blend of fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. If you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or just want to try something new, this place will not disappoint....

They have given me a food that I am allergic where I have already asked the waitress more than 2 times that was there any seafood especially prawn in the food. But she just answered that there was only PORK.

I ate only one wonton and started to have allergy symptom. I again told the waitress that I couldn’t eat this food due to my allergies however the waitress wasn’t even apologise for her mistake or ask me if I have allergy with me. The waitress only said that she will change the food to other menu for me. Very big disappointment for this restaurant.

Restaurant is not responsible for allergies in some circumstances. The restaurant has not a very high duty of care for its customers. Bad management of staff and...
