I’m more confused then anything. While I’m not one to hang onto things as small and petty as a meal from a fast food chain, I was shocked tonight to find that a previous issue of mine had been totally disregarded.
I very rarely eat fast food, but a few weeks ago, In a moment of weakness, a friend of mine and I caved in and decided to splurge on something quick and easy. After ordering from the establishment in Flemington, I was disgusted by the state of the food I was served. The chips were over-salted to the point that my mate and I couldn’t eat more then a small handful, and the “soft bun” of the burger was so stale that it was crunchy to touch, to name a few issues. The service on that particular day was also of a very poor standard.
After calling up to inform the staff of the issue, I was assured that if I were to return, I would be more then welcome to redeem the meal.
Once again tonight, I gave in and decided to redeem my meal. When I arrived at the drive through, I was asked to drive to the window where I faced a very dismissive manager, who was very quick to turn me away with no question, stating that I had never made the complaint.
I understand that some people may try to abuse the kindness of a business that stands by the quality of their product. I also appreciate that it makes sense for a business to take a record of redeemable complaints, however, I made a complaint and was assured I would be redeemed, which clearly is not the case.
I have taken time to write this review as I find this service to be completely unacceptable. Why work here if you don't want to do the job? This is disgusting behaviour, then I got home only to find Lettuce in 1 of the Royal burgers 🍔. I ordered both Royals w/out Lettuce. Read moreWORST SERVICE EVER! POOR ATTITUDE BY THE FEMALE STAFF MEMBER THAT SERVED ME. She was abrupt, extremely unprofessional and was more interested in talking to her fellow staff members than serving me. I had to correct her three times when she kept taking my order incorrectly. Even once I had received my order, I had to ask her for the two drinks I had ordered. With that, she grabbed a drink that had been left sitting on the counter by somebody.for 10 minutes. I then asked her for two fresh drinks and she only brought back one. Eventually a young man, possiblly the manager, came over and got my drinks.
