Hungry Jack's Burgers Hallam — Restaurant in Melbourne

Whilst the burgers are definitely better at Hungry Jacks, their restaurant in Hallam left a bit to be desired for.

I used to go there regularly over a decade ago with friends every fortnight for a get together and bite. I remembered the place more cleaner than what I found it when I went recently. Hence the four stars out of a possible five.

Their food was on par still, though. No longer than average wait times, and good quality (relatively speaking) food at that.

They used to have a duke box, that you could select music from, for free. I'm not sure if they still have that facility though.

However, one of my favourite parts of visiting Hungry Jacks has to be the free refills. Can't beat that!

Their seating arrangements was the main reason I had selected this venue to be our get together all those years ago. They have a round table with C shaped benches in either far corner of the restaurant. I believe it can comfortably sit six adults.

I think I'll come here for years to come... But they definitely need to get their cleaning act...

FILTHIEST RESTAURANT IN AUSTRALIA!

When we ordered our meal, we didn't expect that we would receive a rude arrogant manager who would argue on how a burger was made, and then charge us for their error. When we asked for a bacon deluxe as a 5", we were given a standard bacon deluxe. I s my it back to which they argued that it was correct, to which I said no I asked for a bacon deluxe as a 5". They changed it and only noticing when I got back to my dirty table, they just took the insides and threw it into a dry 5" bun. To which I asked if this was a joke, the manager said no that is correct but I will make a new one with 5" patty but I had to pay an additional $2.95. this has been more than just once that we have experienced this type of service and we will never go back here. You couldn't even walk around or sit down due to how filthy the floors, tables and chairs were. We took photos also at the state of the restaurant and we will also take further action. Managers and staff need retraining on hygiene...

Absolutely disappointing customer service and food , there were only 2 pieces of rotten lettuce and nothing else from salads, we over charged for what we were getting as a combo or family pack for 4 normally was paying $39.90 but we were charged $60, when we called to discuss the matter the management Shamsia was absolutely unprofessional and childish in handling the matter, and she hang up at the end Not recommending this store at all, so disappointing. Will definitely take it to some upper management, abusive staff. A day later my daughter become sick, what a shame for Hungry Jacks company. A week later another guy called sandeep/ sandy called and made a threat towards us that he will call the police for our complaint, how ridiculous it is, customers are threatened for not making complaint!!!! I realised from the other store that they getting all their chickens from same place and they are not Halal but they saying Hallam HJ is Halal. All lie lie and lie, no dignity or work...
