I had ordered take away naan from here a few times since I moved into the area. Was very good. Last night I went to buy more but was told they didn’t have any last night so I said I’d try again during the week. I was told that they had fresh roti bread instead and it could be ready in a few minutes. I ordered a couple of pieces for 6 dollars which seemed fair for freshly made roti, but when I unwrapped it, I found two terrible supermarket pieces of processed roti that had clearly been thrown on a hot pan for a minute or so to make it look “cooked”. Tasting it was just as disgusting as it looked, and was basically inedible. Almost 24 hours on, the thought of it turns my stomach and I actually think it’s turned me off Indian food in general. Who knows what else is in the kitchen that is not what it seems. Poor form.

FYI, I'm told it's the same owners but now named Nala Bheema. I had a terrific biryani for lunch. Chicken was tender and great quality. Very big portion for under $20. Could easily have taken half home. It was quiet at lunchtime but deserves to be busy. What a find this place is.

We used to love the curries when this place was Indian Tukka with Brenda at the helm, and we’re pleased to say the food is still just as flavoursome! We celebrated my partner’s birthday here and really enjoyed our meal. Great service and delicious dishes—will definitely be back!

I recently dined at this exceptional Indian restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The moment I stepped in, the warm ambiance and aromatic spices in the air set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The menu offered a tantalizing array of Indian dishes, from classic butter chicken to spicy vindaloo.

Each dish was a harmonious blend of flavors and spices, with the perfect balance of heat and richness. The naan was freshly baked, and the biryani was fragrant and flavorful. The attentive staff and authentic atmosphere made it an exceptional dining experience. I can't wait to return and savor more of their...
