The Last Stop Wine Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

Will not be back after our disastrous night on Saturday night, 2 and half hours to get our food to the point by the end of it I didn’t eat anything, being pregnant this is defiantly not ideal. Either put more staff on or simply don’t run a business, especially a day like derby day and the festive season fast approaching:) to top it all off the lights went out so the food that did come out my family were eating in the dark. Very disappointing for my sisters bday. Only outcome was the food bill was waived but it is still not good enough when you are running a business in the hustle and bustle of Melbourne! DO NOT READ THE BELOW REPLY, ABSOLUTE NONSENSE AND LIES. I actually can’t believe how low this business has stoped and apparently Being pregnant is now a medical issue, wow, I have no words, none of us were late and we also didn’t just walk in, we had booked 3 weeks prior as it was my sisters bday. Would you like to eat a heavy meal at 9.30pm in the dark? Us customers are the one that give you business and allow your doors to stay open in the first place and you respond with an arrogant response like that just goes To show what kind of business you are. We had to leave on our terms thank you very much as there was no power and we couldn’t see anything🤦‍♀️ One of the Meals never came out at all so it wasn’t a total of 10 either! From 7.30 to 9.30 it is a total of a 2 hour wait so someone clearly Can’t calculate properly. Whether my kids meals came out first or not either way I had to expect both my young girls to sit around and wait for our meals to come out anyways! Disgrace, will not be back...

WORST SERVICE EVER! Older woman who I believe was a accident tipped drinks over us and our belongings who then took no responsibility and did not apologise. Later bringing a fresh beer and throwing a bag at my partner. Visitors beware, unless you want the worst customer service I suggest you don’t visit.

I was asked not to bother about writing a review because we are not the type to leave bad reviews on small business.

That fact that we waited so long for drinks was not an issue. Spilling a bottle of water over us and our belongings which hit the glass of beer and knocked it off the table was not the issue. The issue was the fact that your were so rude to us about it and we never received an apology. You told me you didn’t have cameras and even the other gentleman working was telling you to let it go. I’m not sure what you are talking about we choose to leave after you came back with another beer and made a scene about it. Everyone has bad days and I’m sure you and you partner run a lovely business but your behaviour was applying and we are still yet to receive an apology....

The wine itself was fine and the price decent. However the older male who worked there was a judgmental and rude man. From the moment our group sat down he appeared annoyed at us. I think it’s because we were a group of younger adults, and we weren’t too familiar with wine and how it works so he was annoyed it took us a while to decide what to order. He also made negative comments to one of my friends who wasn’t drinking, which is incredibly rude. The lady there was lovely. We also had to wait about 30 minutes for them to make mojitos which was a tad long. Again, if the older man wasn’t there it would’ve been a good experience but we all felt judged as he was combative from the moment we sat down.
