Not sure why the rating of this place is so high. Went there today to grab my lunch, unfortunately won't be back again. When I just stepped one foot in to that place the ladies were immediately asking me for my order, not letting me even look into their menu. I knew what I wanted, so ordered straight away the bahn mi with chicken. Lady at the counter suggested satay chicken as a filling, so I was like 'Sure, why not'. First: this place is quite overpriced comparing to other- way better places, second: they overcharged me (I feel that the trick with taking my order, not letting me look into menu was supposed to distract me). When I got my satay chicken roll, it wasn't good at all. The bun was way smaller comparing to what you usually get in other places, but the most important- chicken was absolutely flavourless. No satay flavour, just some tasteless fried chicken. Soooo disappointing, I wasn't even able to finish it because was really bad. Shame, because I love vietnameese rolls and would definitely be back on my lunch breaks if...
Read moreCustomer service is terrible. Rude behaviour and racism upon guests. Whoever reading this from management team, arrange proper training on yr staffs how to greet customers very well and at the same time how to maintain exceptional service. Not recommend!!!!
Edit: Particularly two ladies, who's taking orders and preparing foods around 10:13AM on 16 May. She did not show any welcoming and friendly behaviour. Instead she shouted out loud; showing impatient behaviour and rushing us to order even though there are no customers behind us. And for the one who served the food, she served the customers with unfriendly behaviour. and no-one say "Thank You", we did not take any serious about that.
Only wants to highlight overall their behaviour and customer service. So, you should review all your staffs how they behave and talk to the customers not only in front of management but also...
Read moreORDERED: 🌭 Crackling pork belly Vietnamese roll: $10.40pp
REVIEW: Loved how airy the bread was. It's crunchy, crispy, and a hazard to your shirt after every bite with the crumbs that flake off. Skin has been carved off from the pork belly, and it appears to be cooked separately. The light crunch didn't feel oily or greasy at all! Pork belly itself came in both forms: lean and fatty, but I felt a little uncomfortable with how oily this was. The paper bag was soaked through with grease and became translucent. 😭 However, definitely a filling and affordable lunch in the area.
Service is very efficient. The Vietnamese aunties are regulars at this. You can see this when there's a line of workers building up during the lunch rush and it's all processed quickly and seamlessly and everyone walks out with their banh mi's in a...
