KFC Greensborough — Restaurant in Melbourne

UPDATE AS OF 26 AUG 2024 - Credit to this KFC, they have improved their handling of simple drive through orders. I haven’t experienced the same delays as per 2023 below, with the food being given in a timely manner.

UPDATE AS OF 17 JAN 2024 - This KFC has to be one of the worst run outlets in Melbourne. Yet again I’m asked to park for an extended period of time for 10 nuggets at 6:45pm on this day, which is a standard meal on their menu. No-one drove through the drive through that I had entered through.

UPDATE AS OF 29 DEC 2023 - Yet again I ordered chicken nuggets and was told to wait in the car park. No one came through drive through while I waited forever. This KFC doesn’t care about its customer and its drive thru is not fast food.

OLD UPDATE AS OF OCT 2023 - I’ve coming once a week to order nuggets through the drive through and every week I get told to park in the car park and wait for what feels like 20 minutes. This has happened for 6 weeks in a row and I’ve had enough. This is by far the worst takeaway outlet, and KFC head office needs to take action as it is...

The night began with soul crushing defeat but was restored buy two angels draped in all black, sent by the saviour of fried chicken!

We limped into the store after a loss of our favourite Watersport, as our last member crawled in the first of our saviours “Ella” stepped up and enquired about our plight. As she heard the last of our tail she exclaimed “I’ll get… HIM!”

Enter “Theo, queller of disappointments” like a young Fabio, with his luscious long hair, he proceeded to tell us that they were all out of zingers, and I have never been so happy to be let down. After skilfully working the till like a dark angel playing the cords of our fate, our orders were placed and none were what we wanted but all were exactly what we needed!

After telling us that we would need to alter our orders again he sent us on our way with some of the most typical late night kfc and hearts full of hope and happiness.

We will be back when we can to see our angels but tonight shall never be forgotten!

This is the filthiest place I have ever been in. There was not a table that didn't have food scraps, used drink containers, food and used cardboard containers covered the floor. The staff were not interested in the customer's who waited to order, all they were concerned with was the UBER drivers' orders. The staff did not even face us until we called out and even then they just glared at us and kept their backs to us ! WHEN WE FINALLY GOT ONE PERSON TO TAKE OUR ORDER THEY HAD RUN OUT OF MOST OF THE MENUS. I would rather have donated the $23 to charity. Many of my friends who all met at the local footy game had called into KFC G'Borough that night all walked out without ordering because of the filthy state of the place and the terrible staff attitude.
